Chapter 23: Miss to Mrs.

Rory's POV:

I wake up to a text from my soon-to-be husband. I smile as I think today is my wedding day. I am marrying the boy that drove me crazy in high school but the way he drives me crazy now is different. 

In school, he drove me crazy because he annoyed me and made me so mad. Now he drives me crazy with love and lust. I can't seem to get enough of him. I am completely in love with Tristan Michael Dugray. 

I get out of bed thinking how last night was amazing. We sat in the gazebo for hours. we talked and laughed. This is what I love about him. He is sweet and caring nothing like he was in school. I go to the kitchen for coffee. 

I make half decaf and half regular. I feel a flutter in my stomach. I stop what I am doing and I feel it again. I yell, "mom come here. Hurry please."

Lorelai rushes into the kitchen, "what's wrong?"

"I felt this weird flutter in my stomach. Is something wrong? I am scared mom."

"Oh, sweets you are feeling the baby move. There is nothing wrong. You are able to feel it on the inside and in a few weeks you will be able to feel it on the outside."

"Really? Are you sure mom? I mean I am fifteen weeks now."

"Yes, I promise everything is fine. Maybe the baby is letting you know that you marrying Tristan is the right thing. It's simply reminding you about it."

Rory had tears in her eyes. "I have never had any doubts about marrying Tris. The moment he dropped to his knees on that Bridge I knew the answer. I knew I wanted nothing more than to marry him. I was the one that wanted to get married so soon, this was my choice."

"I know that Ror, I can see the look in your eyes. I can tell that you love him and it is a different love than you have ever had Dean, Jess, or Logan. He is your true love. I think you loved all those before but it was a different love."

"What do you mean by a different love?"

"Well, Dean was an innocent first love. Jess was an impulsive heated love. Logan was your first adult sexual relationship love. You and Logan had a lot of firsts. You and Logan loved each other deeply but with Tristan, it is different Tristan is the love you never gave a chance. He is the one you waited for at just the right time."

"Like what did the first time you kiss feel like? What were your thoughts after?"

"It was amazing. My heart soared when his lips touched mine for the first time. Everything changed I forgot about Logan and all my previous relationships. The first thing I thought was about our future. I wanted the entire future, marriage, kids, and a house with him."

"There is your answer even I can see it when I see the way you look at him. He is it for you. Now you best be getting ready daughter of mine because today you will be a married woman. I am sure your groom is pacing the floor ready for the ceremony."

"I know I can't wait. Coffee and then I am taking a shower. I am getting married in three hours."

I go back into my room and grab my phone. I read the text my man sent me.

  Good morning my beautiful bride. I hope you had a decent night's rest because tonight there won't be much. I love you and I can't wait for you to become my wife. T xoxoxo

  Good morning my handsome groom. I slept okay but I missed you and I wouldn't expect any tonight is going to be a celebration of our union. I love you and I can't wait to change from Miss to your Mrs. See you soon, I will be the one in white. R xoxoxo     

She sent her message just as she drank the rest of her body's elixir. She grabbed her clothes and went to the shower. Once she finished she would head to the church to get ready. The makeup artist and stylist would be there.
