Sapnap didn't want to get up, he was tired, he wasn't tired because he had done something. He was just tired, he was finished, didn't want to do anything, it was infuriating. He hated when his feelings didn't make sense.

He was tired of being tired

He hated this weakness, he wanted to be confident not this mess of a human. His grades were dropping, parents were constantly yelling at him, never bothering to help, he had a project overdue, everything sucked.

He wanted an outlet, he needed an outlet

But he didn't have the energy to make one, he didn't have the energy to make an outlet, he was too tired to help himself.

Useless
Freak
Disappointment

Worthless

He wanted to disagree with the voices, he wanted to believe he was worth something but he was too tired to fight them. He was about to just go back under the covers to hide, to never come out.

But he heard a knocking on his window, he wanted to know what was the thumping but he was exhausted.

"Hey baby,"

A caramel like voice greeted, it was sweet, comforting, he wanted to hear more of it, but he wanted to know where the voice was coming from. He slowly lifted his head and saw a familiar mop of blond hair, and a pair of green eyes.

"D-dream?"

He asked, he was now in partial shock and slowly lifting himself from bed.

"Calm down sweetie, lie back down, it's ok,"

Dream said, now fully into Sapnap's room, Sapnap nodded and rested himself back onto his bed, the bed no longer feeling like a trap.

"Baby, you wanna eat something?"

Dream asked, Sapnap was about to nod but he remembered that his parents didn't like Dream.

"How're you gonna do that?"
"Baby, your parents aren't home,"

Dream said, slightly confused on how Sapnap didn't know that. Sapnap's eyes widened as he thought about how his parents didn't even bother to tell him,

Of course they wouldn't tell a disappointment like you

The voice said, making Sapnap fall back into his little dilemma,

"No, none of that, I wanna see my baby happy,"

Dream said, brushing some of Sapnap's bangs out of his face, placing a kiss to Sapnap's forehead. Sapnap was shocked at how Dream knew but didn't question any of it, was he just that easy to read?

"Have you eaten?"
"N-no,"

Sapnap muttered, anyone else would've missed the word but Dream didn't.

"Can you get up for me darling?"

Dream asked, tone soft. Sapnap shook his head, he would fall right on his face if he tried to stand up.

"Aww, that's ok baby, look at it like this!"

Dream said, sneaking his hands between Sapnap and the bed, lifting him off of it and holding him bridal style,

"You're my little prince!"

Dream said, swallowing up the embarrassed whine that came from Sapnap's mouth. Dream kissed the crown of his head and walked them down the stairs, readjusting Sapnap's blanket so it wouldn't drag on the floor.

"Baby, I'm gonna put you on the couch and I'm gonna make some food for you,"

Dream said, feeling the slight nod from Sapnap. He put Sapnap on the couch length wise and went off to the kitchen, opening the freezer and looking for something to make. He reached to the back of the freezer and pulled out some frozen pancakes.

He hissed at the cold blue and yellow box, but read the instructions. He needed to put it in the microwave for one minute and he had to make something for Sapnap to drink. He made a cup of tea, making sure it wasn't too hot.

The 'beep!' from the microwave seemed to have woken up Sapnap, hearing a groan from the couch. Dream took the plain blue cup and the syruped pancakes, to Sapnap, hoping he would like them.

"Pumpkin, I got some food,"

Dream said, smiling as he saw Sapnap's head perk up.

"Sit up pumpkin, imma feed ya,"

Dream said, putting the plate and mug down, causing a painful 'clink!', making Sapnap's head pound. Sapnap practically flopped onto Dream as he carefully cut the pancake into a small pieces.

It was cute to see Sapnap open his little mouth and chew the food, it was especially nice for Sapnap to be treated like a kid again, instead of a failure.

"Ok, baby, we're gonna go back to your room and cuddle, we don't have to talk if you don't wanna,"

Dream said, it was nice to have something planned out for him, Sapnap didn't have to think when he was with Dream, he only needed to stay awake, Dream carded his hand through Sapnap's hair, making a yawn fall out of Sapnap's mouth.

"Alright, up up,"

Dream said, getting off of the couch and picking up Sapnap, carrying them to Sapnap's room to cuddle.
