~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 5 ~~~~~~~~~~~~
"What?!" shouted Varian and Cassandra, shocked.
"How can you do this to her?!" Varian asked angrily.
The man started laughing and approached Cassandra.
"You have really great friends don't you?"
"Shut up!" Varian shouted angrily.
"I lo- am very happy to have her!"
When Varian changed his sentence, Cassandra noticed that he probably didn't feel anything for her anymore...
Cassandra looked at the floor in shock.
"But this girl is very aggressive," said Hector with a laugh.
She looked up angrily.
"I recommend these," he said and took out the handcuffs.
After all this time...
Does he really want to get rid of her...
He threw the handcuffs to him and he just laughed.
"Well then."
When he wanted to put this on her, she raised her fist exactly at the moment she got a firm hand against her face.
"You will listen to him," said Hector in a calm voice. "
He took the handcuffs and put them on her himself.
"Now smile."
She looked at him confused.
She tried not to cry... He wanted her to do wha...t?
As if he had heard her thoughts, he put a hand on her cheek and whispered in her ear: "I want to see that self-confident courageous smile that knows for sure that I will never let you down."
She froze.
But she didn't have to bother to smile.
Somehow it came by itself.
"Good girl..." he whispered and got up.
"And if you put yourself in danger, I'll never leave you alone again."
It had been so confusing...
Cassandra liked it somehow...
How could he stay so calm in situations like this?
And also calm down another person even though they wanted to scream two seconds ago.
How did he stay so strong?
He never showed his real feelings.
All he just said...
seemed so emotionless.
But not heartless.
Tense but not afraid.
Sometimes it seemed like a greater mystery than Rapunzel's blond hair and the moonstone at the same time.
But she was already torn from her thoughts when the man pulled her wrist.
Already her smile disappeared and she wanted to cry again.
Owl immediately flew after her.
But Varian was even angrier at Hector, so that he attacked him with a clenched fist.
Hector dodged and looked at Varian in amazement.
He's not usually like that.
"How could you do that to her?!" He called when he struck again.
But suddenly he was kicked aside and handcuffed as well.
Hector remained calm but looked angrily at the crowd.
But as he got closer, he knocked everyone out.
Everyone fell over and then he ran to Varian.
"I never meant to let Cassandra down."
He broke the cuff with his bare hands and Varian looked at him in shock.
"I want this guy to just believe he won."
"And what if he does something really bad to Cassandra?! Right now?!"
"Then we should hurry!" Shouted Hector.
Varian nodded and they ran.
At that time Cassandra stood handcuffed in front of the strange man.
"You will fight me now."
"Not particularly easy with these things," said Cassandra, raising her hands.
"It is. And if I beat you, you will marry me. Since i know, you are that Warrior Queen, aren't you?"
Cassandra looked at him annoyed.
"Why is everyone after me...?"
But he was already attacking with his sword.
She dodged once and again.
But now she had an idea.
She pulled out her hands and pulled the chain on the handcuffs so that he broke them with his sword.
"What?!", he shouted shocked but attacked again immediately.
Cassandra jumped over him just then in a somersault, grabbed his upper arms and threw him against the wall, so that his sword fell off.
He also fell to the floor and Cassandra took a rope that was hanging on the wall and walked towards him.
Owl was in front of the building, howling.
So Hector and Varian finally found her and broke the door open.
But there Cassandra was hanging upside down on a beam where she was holding onto with her legs.
In front of her was the man who was tied up.
It was pretty unclear what happened.
She looked back at them and they looked at her in shock.
She jumped to the floor and smiled.
"I knew you were coming back."
"Hello! I'm still here too!" Shouted Varian angrily.
"Of course Cassandra," Hector replied calmly.
"Isn't it my command to protect you as a member of the royal family?"
The bound man tried to say something which was impossible because Cassandra taped his mouth shut.
He looked very angry, horrified, and frightened. But had no injuries.
Varian and Hector stepped closer.
"Tell me, Cassandra, what did you do to him?"
"No matter what I did, he definitely deserved it."
Hector looked at her emotionless.
She was right.
That's how he would have done it.
But she should be more careful.
"You have no idea what it means..."
She looked at him in amazement.
"...to make a person suffer."
He smiled but suddenly became sad for no reason.
Or did he have a reason?
Varian looked at him confused.
However, he did not show that he was grieving.
He smiled too much for that.
"Hector..." began Cassandra.
But Varian interrupted her, "We should go."
Hector quickly wiped away his tears and said, "The child is right."
"Child?!"
"What about the man?" Asked Cassandra.
"He can hang out a bit. Or we light him," said Hector with a mischievous smile.
"No!" Cassandra and Varian shouted angrily.
"Well then not you boredom. Let's..."
But when they turned around there were already three guards with swords in their hands. Ready to fight.
"Oh please!" Hector exclaimed annoyed.
He drew his sword and said annoyed, "Well guys, I really don't feel like fighting you right now and if I do... then it won't end well for you..."
He attacked.
It didn't take long, a few hits with the sword and they fell to the ground.
