Sometimes, I ask myself a question like... how would you know if you love someone enough? How would you know if they love you enough to make them feel loved? Is it a responsibility? Or is it a nature of a man to go back to the beginning and fall inlove like it's always the first time?

Because too true to be told, I don't know the answer. Sometimes I think love happens to be there like it doesn't go away; it doesn't fade, it doesn't dull. Love is always that one thing that would ruin our mind and our decisions. It would be our sanctuary but it could lose our sanity in other way.

But nonetheless, it's still love after all. We're humans. We accept and we give. We take and we receive. We are capable of getting hurt and being happy.

The party is almost on peak when we arrived at Carta Bien. Sinalubong kami ng mga kaibigan namin noong highschool na invited rin sa afterparty ng movie premier namin. First in the line were Amanda and Julia who came running to me, giggling when they saw who I was with.

"See you inside, Cai." Mahinang sabi ko kay Caius dahil kinakailangan na naming maghiwalay para mameet namin lahat ng bisita.

"Kestrielle! God, how are you that amazing!" Julia hugged me tight.

Napahalakhak ako sa yakap niya saka siya niyakap pabalik.

"The whole time the movie was rolling, nakanganga lang yata ako!" Ani Amanda saka lumapit rin sa amin.

I pouted a bit and opened my arms to hug her together with Julia. Mahigpit ko silang niyakap at halos mag-squeeze ako sa kanilang dalawa. Imagine dalawa palang sila ha! Too bad Andrea and Marj are out of the country because they're busy living their lives kaya wala sila rito ngayon.

"Too many bombs tonight!" Ani Julia.

I blowed the insides of my cheeks when she withdrew from the hug. Humalukipkip siya at ngumisi sa akin. I sighed. Okay, I get it!

"Hindi kami nagbalikan—"

"Pero bakit magkasama..." Si Amanda.

"Sabay lang kami. He offered the ride. We're friends." Paliwanag ko naman.

"Keesh, Brett broke up with you. He let you go so what's stopping you from getting back with your ex? We all know your history.." Ani Julia.

I smiled a bit, slightly remembering what happened in the car.

"It's the feelings. I couldn't figure it out."

That's the truth. I don't know what's stopping me. Siguro dahil hindi ko parin malaman kung ano ba talaga ang nararamdaman ko. I'm happy that Caius and I are okay but I'm sad that Brett and I are over.

I know I can't love them both at the same time. Palaging may lamang at ngayon, hindi ko alam kung sino ba. Hindi ko parin alam.

"How come you couldn't?" Tanong ni Amanda.

I shrugged. I don't know too! Why are these people expecting me to know all my actions? Eh para ngang hindi ko na kilala ang sarili ko ngayon, e.

"Can you spare me this night please? Enjoy nalang muna natin ang party then let's settle the issue on some other day?" I suggested, too obsessed with the freedom from my friends.

Nagkatinginan pa sila saglit like they don't want to let it go but since marami na rin ang bumabati at tumatawag sa akin, wala na silang nagawa kung hindi ang pagbigyan ako.

I entered the place in all smiles. I greeted everyone I would meet along the way, kahit hindi ko pa gaanong close since I want to be friendly as possible kasi halos nasa iisang industry lang naman kaming lahat.
