"Keesh, ang sabi ko, taas kamay, bakit paa ang tinaas mo?"

Wala ako sa sariling napatingin kay Tanya. Tinaasan ko pa siya ng kilay dahil hindi ko nakuha ang gusto niyang iparating.

"Itaas mo kako ang kamay mo para ma ribbon ko na 'tong gown mo!"

"Oh! Right! I'm sorry!" Sagot ko saka sinunod ang gusto niyang mangyari.

Gosh, I am completely out of my mind since this morning. Lutang na lutang ako and hindi ko manlang na enjoy ang rest ng day ko at birthday greetings sa akin dahil sa halo halong nararamdaman ko.

I have to get back to my senses. Malapit nang magsimula ang party at hinihintay ko nalang ang cue ng M.C para sa akin.

I stared at the mirror. I am wearing a gold-gliterry ball gown with a plain sweatheart top. Naka messy bun din ang buhok ko na ilulugay rin mamaya kapag nagpalit na ako ng isa ko pang gown. A tiara ackcent was added to my hair to make it more stunning.

"Keesh... you have to calm down, alright?" I whispered to myself.

Pilit kong inayos ang pakiramdam ko. I am so nervous right now like I'm about to throw up because of the gitters. Lalo na noong narinig ko kay Tanya na halos kumpleto na ang guests!

Complete means everyone is already there! I don't know what to exactly feel. Kung wala na ako sa sarili, mas lalo yata ngayong tinawag na ako ng M.C mula sa room ko.

I inhaled an ample amount of air before deciding to walk. My knees are trembling badly as well as my hands. Pilit ko iyong pinigilan habang hawak ko ang gown ko.

A familiar music starts and Tanya guided me to the grand staircase. Mula sa taas palang, kita ko na kaagad ang mga bisitang nag aabang sa akin. They are all on their best dresses and smiles. Tila ba tuwang tuwa na nandito sila ngayon.

Doon ko lang naramdaman na it's really my birthday and I am again the eye of the crowd. I walked down slowly, trying hard not to fell down on my knees. Nakita ko naman kaagad si Daddy na nagaabang sa huling steps ng hagdan, he's waiting for me to reach him, his eyes are even teary.

He welcomed me with a kiss and a tight hug before sending me infront of my gigantic birthday cake. From there, they sang a happy birthday for me and the programme started.

As much as I don't want to cry, hindi ko rin napigilan dahil sa birthday wishes ng aking mga kaibigan. I really treasure them because they've been with me since the first day I transferred at that school.

"I remember the very first time we met when you were searching for a club to audition. Okay, ilalaglag kita Keesh, ha, eighteen ka na naman and almost everyone here already knows that you once had a crush to this cool-suplado guy na nagpush sayo na mag audition sa club namin," Amanda started.

I frowned again, I felt my cheeks turning red because of it! Bakit kailangan pang ipaalala?!

Doon lang tuloy pumasok sa isip ko ulit si Caius. I haven't seen him yet but I already saw Caly and Sien. They both greeted me when we walked passed them. Nasaan kaya ang kapatid nila?

"Peace out, Tito and Tita, pero malandi talaga ang anak niyo.." The crowd laughed. "It's normal naman. She really liked that guy, it become her inspiration to pursue what she wanted and that's theater. That's why I am so amazed of Kestrielle, you're so strong, you're brave, you are never afraid to show what you feel. Mataray ka pero kapag nakilala ka nila, they'd love you. You are worth-loving. I'm so blessed to have someone like you. Hindi ko 'to sinasabi dahil birthday mo ha, gusto ko lang ishare sa kanila.. so Happy eighteenth, Keesh! Cheers to new beginning! Ang wish ko lang para sa'yo, lovelife. Deserve mo, eighteen ka na naman!" She winked and walked close to hug me.
