They played two more songs until they invited us to join the club.
"We'll be having our booths on the first day of school. See you there!" The female vocalist said.
I immediately scanned it to check for the cool guy's name pero wala.
"Hey.. hey.. excuse me.." I called the guy who went to give us the flyers.
"Bakit?" tanong niya. Pinalapit ko siya at sumunod naman siya. Maingay kaya medyo lumapit siya sa akin.
"Anong name nyan? That guy. The drummer!" I asked with a loud whisper.
"Drummer?" Tanong niya ulit. Tumango ako at napasulyap siya sa stage. "Ah, si Caius. Bakit?"
Oh, Caius. Caius who?
"Nothing. Pakisabi, I like him,"
"Huh?" Naguguluhan niyang tanong.
I pouted. "I like him, kamo, pakisabi." I smiled sweetly and gestured him to go away. "Sige na, alis ka na. Okay na," I smiled again.
I stayed inside the auditorium while they're fixing their things.
I don't like getting all sweat because of the crowd and I have an irrational fear of confined spaces sometimes, or baka kaartehan ko lang 'yon dahil ayokong madudumihan.
I watched the auditorium slowly getting empty. I combed my shoulder-length straight hair with my fingers as I crossed my legs and just decided to count from 1-100 as I wait for him to look at me.
Well, gusto ko siyang ngitian, bakit ba?
"96... 97... 98..." I sighed. "96 and a half, 96 and three forths, 97 and..." I sighed again.
Ayaw niyang tumingin!
If this guy won't look at me right now, mababadtrip talaga ako.
I hold grudge pa naman sometimes, depending on the person.
"96...97... 98... 99...... Shit!"
I immediately smiled and waved the notebooks he lent me.
Nagtitigan kami, ah!" I said to myself and decided to go nearer but an usherette blocked my way.
"But I have to talk to someone," I told her while trying hard to take a look of the backstage.
I walked out of the auditorium and realized that I was the only one left there bukod sa mga usherettes na naglilinis siguro.
I looked around to search for him hut I think he's not here. Baka sa ibang way ang backstage. Ah!
