"Is she doing that on purpose? What the hell?!"

I was so mad that I didn't waste time to call Nina. Gabing gabi na sa Pilipinas nang tumawag ako. She's already on her bed looking annoyed too from the news.

"Publicity padin ba? Is it because of some promotions and shits?" Tanong ko pa ulit.

"I don't know, yet. I didn't expect her to post like that and even made it look liked she was the one on the pictures!"

"Yes! That was my point! Halata namang hindi siya, ah? Some of her fans also saw her in Manila that day! What was the freaking point?!" I hysterically asked.

I was really close to calling the management to ask them about the bullshits they made but I tried my best to calm myself. Mukhang hindi parin alam ni Daddy. Wala naman akong pakialam sa loveteam nila. But the fact that she even did a make-over, copied my style and claimed to be the one in the photos is really too much!

"Why don't you ask help from Caius? Of all poeple, he's the one more in-control of the news.." Suhetsyon ni Nina.

Naisip ko na 'yon.. but I don't think he could do something about it.

"He's still on his flight back to Manila. Mamayang hapon pa ang dating niya kaya paniguradong wala siyang alam.."

"How are we sure that he doesn't know anything? The fact that he suddenly went back here even when he's planned to spend a week with you is disturbing..."

Hindi kaagad ako nakapagsalita pagkatapos sabihin ni Nina 'yon. It's true that Caius planned a week long vacation with me yet he had to go back immediately.

Well, it was not a big deal for me. It's his work after all. It's already enough for me that he went here to see me even for just a short span of time, hindi ko rin naman kasi inaasahan na magtatagal siya.. but what made me feel uneasy now was the news circulating in the social media.

"He'll probbaly call me when he landed."

Ayaw ko mang isipin pero posible nga na may kinalalaman ang pag-uwi niya sa ginawa ni Sofia. I just don't know if he didn't want me to know or he doesn't know what's happening, yet.

"I didn't expect you to be this calm.. I mean, not really calm but somehow calm..." Nina trade off.

Kumunot ang noo ko sa kanya.

"If it was the old you, you'd probably throw a fit online. I know how much you hated people like... her... you despise that. Ayaw mo nang may humihigit sa'yo sa ibang bagay and worst.. ginaya ka pa.." She chuckled a bit.

I chuckled, too. Oo nga 'no? I was mad but wala naman akong ginagawa. Totoo ang sinabi ni Nina. She knew that ever since we were kids.. that's why I didn't expect to be this close to her. Kasi pakiramdam ko hinihigitan niya ako noon.

"Maybe because I care for his career.." I blankly said.

I can't let my selfishness taint his career.

"And how about your peace of mind?" Tanong niya ulit.

I can see a ghost of sadness in her eyes through this simple video call. She got a point. My peace was gone. Hindi ko maatim ang kung ano mang pinaplano ng management para kay Sofia.

"Just make sure you won't lose it during his career.."

I nodded. "Of course..."

I ended the short call with Nina so she could sleep. Iniwasan ko na rin muna nag mag online dahil ang huling kita ko kanina, trending padin si Sofia.

I also memorized Caius' arrival in Manila and I was already expecting his call anytime soon but none came. It's probably because he's bombarded with the media. Hinintay ko nalang buong araw hanggang sa nakatulog na ako nang walang natatanggap.
