Prologue

In a far away land, there are five kingdoms that are living in peace. Each kingdom has a possession that makes them rich.

Kingdom of Almandine, the richest of them all. The kingdom possess different mining sites where different gems and minerals are discovered.

Kingdom of Opaline, the second kingdom. The kingdom where fields are full of rich and delectable fruits.

Kingdom of Virdigris, the third kingdom. The kingdom where farmlands are full of healthy vegetables.

Kingdom of Henlenka, the fourth kingdom. The kingdom where people raised cows, pigs, and poultry for meat. People also go to the sea to fish.

Kingdom of Sapphirine, the last kingdom. It is known for its different clothing fabric. They have the most beautiful fabric that is used by the royaltys.

The five kingdoms live in harmony and helped each other. Kingdoms trade items for their people's needs. The five kingdoms formed an organization called G.O.E.S.T.

The GOEST stands for each stone that represents the five kingdoms. This organization helps the citizens live in peace and helps them in their needs. Some members of this organization are also working for the kingdom and some are people who belong to the high and middle class.

In each kingdom, there are forest in their territories. It is said that fairies live in the deep part of the forest. Only a few people see fairies because fairies are scared of humans. There was once war where humans hunt down fairies to make money from them.

Since then, fairies hide in the deep part of the forest but sometimes they visit the kingdom and play with the royalties. One of Goest organization's mission it to protect fairies from humans.

In the northern side of the forest of the Kingdom of Sapphirine, lies the home of fairies. Where two special fairies are born, the twin fairies Solana and Selene.

Solana is a fairy who have orange curly hair and wings that sparkle under the sun, she is love by the sun while her twin Selene is has long black hair and her wings shine under the moon, she is love by the moon and stars. Each fairy has an element, but the two of them can use each other's ability because they are twins.

One day, Selene went out of the forest and was almost captured by fairy hunter but somebody helped her. It was Queen Mariena, the queen of the Kingdom of Sapphirine. The queen ordered to put the hunters into the prison.

Since that day, Selene owe her life to Queen Mariena and promised to protect her until her last breath. The two of them formed an unexpected friendship. The queen introduce Selene to her children. Selene is welcome in the palace anytime. Selene visited the palace to play with the queen's children especially the little ones.

When Solana found out where Selene was going she was outraged, she hate humans. Selene told her that the queen is not bad and she should meet her. Solana was delighted when she met the queen and played with queen's children.

One day, the queen invited Selene to go with them to the neighboring kingdom to celebrate the king's birthday, the king of Almandine. Selene was honored to go with them and prepared for that special day to come. Solana has no clue her twin was going to a party. She only found out when her twin was missing for three days and it made her angry towards the queen.

When Queen Mariena was going back to the kingdom with her family and Selene from the party, they were suddenly attacked by bandits in the middle of the road near the ocean on the outskirts of the kingdom. Soldiers fight to protect the royal family but they were outnumbered. King Cenon help his soldiers in batte to protect his family who are inside the royal carriage.

Selene noticed the familiar presence and went outside of the carriage, she saw her twin, Solana, who was in a human form like her. They fought and Solana's madness controlled her.

The queen was astonished because of what Solana did, she went out of the carriage to stop Solana but it was too late. Solana teared Selene's wings with her own hands. The site of her sister in pain made her feel good and she feel victory. In the battle of strenght, she always wins.

Suddenly an arrow flew towards the queen and pierced through her chest, making her blue gown turn red because of her blood. Bandits are everywhere, they want to steal from the royal family. Solana wants the queen dead and the bandits granted her wish.

The king saw how Queen Mariena fall, he was about to run towards her but and arrow hit him too. Selene crying in pain and sadness because she witness the queen and king being hit by an arrow. Horror creep to her, thinking they might be dead. The bandits steal everything they could carry.

Solana opened the carriage and found the children of the queen crying inside. She laughed and pulled them outside. The bandits took the children's jewelry and anything that they could sell to have money. The children cried when they saw their parents in the verge of death.

Even in pain, Selene stood up and protect the children. It made Solana angry even more, making her curse the children. Selene tried to stop her by reminding her that she might face a punishment from their queen but Solana did not care and curse the children.

Making them into animals...

"Ang unang prinsipe ay naging aso, kulay kayumanggi ang balahibo nito. Habang ang unang prinsesa ay naging ibon na kulay asul," kuwento ng lalaki.

"Hala," sabi ng mga bata na nakikinig sa kanyang kuwento.

Tss.

"Ang pangalawang prinsipe naman ay naging pusa. Ang pangatlo at pangapat na prinsipe ay naging chipmunk."

What?

"Habang ang pangalawang prinses ay naging hamster."

"Hala, ang cute nila!"

"Hindi po ba sila naging tao ulit?"

"Nasaan na po sila ngayon?"

"Walang makapagsabi kung buhay pa ba sila o kung nasaan sila ngayon."

"What a stupid story."

Napalingon sila sa akin at sinamaan ako ng tingin ng matandang lalaki na nagkukuwento.

"Bakit niyo naman po nasasabi na stupid ang story ni Manong?" tanong ng isang bata.

"Paano?" tanong ko at lumapit sakanila. "Dahil hindi nangyayari ang mga ganyan. Story lang 'yan, kuwento na gawa niya at kayo ang mga naniwala sa peke na kuwento--"

"Hoy! Hoy! Sino ka ba?! Anong kuwento na gawa ko?! Hoy, totoo ang sinasabi ko," galit niyang sabi.

"Oh, please, nakakita na ba kayo ng fairy? Nakita niyo ba ang pangyayari na 'yan?"

Hindi siya nakasagot at napalunok siya.

"H-Hindi-"

"Ayun! Hindi naman pala, kaya wag kang masaktan diyan."

"Hindi ko na kita pero iyon ang kuwento nila kung bakit nawala ang hari at reyna sa kaharian ng Sapphirine!"

"Hay nako, nawawala ba ang hari at reyna ng Sapphirine? Nandiyan si King Cerulean. Tss. Mga kuwentong walang kuwenta."

"Dorothy!" napalingon ako sa nagsalita. "Pasensya na po sa kaibigan ko."

"Ilayo mo ang kaibigan mo dito, nakakasira ng araw," reklamo ng matandang lalaki.

"Duh, hindi naman totoo sinasabi mo. Legend lang 'yan, hindi ibig sabihin na legend ay totoo. Hindi nga ako nakakita ng fairy, tao pa ba kaya na naging hayop? How ridiculous."

"Dorothy Kei!" saway niya.

Hindi naman talaga totoo ang ganyang bagay, e.

How can a person turn to an animal?

Because of a fairy's curse?
