[21] DIVORCE 2 - Mar 12 2021

A/N : a couple of overwhelming msgs for a part 2 in my inbox later,I present to you a sequel to [20] DIVORCE.  I am not good with sequels. You have been warned! Read at your own risk

Things were going pretty good between the couple. They loved each other.  Spend more time together. Jungkook made sure not to be self involved anymore. But was it meant to last forever?

Jungkook was slowly making his way up in the agency he was working at. With his hard work, determination and Jimin's support - the tension and burden on his shoulders drastically reduced and due to which he had a clear mind to show forth his skills. But because he started being good at his work, many clients started wanting him as their lawyer. That in turn led to Jungkook having his time consumed by work, but this time Jungkook made sure to not bring work home. Home was his place to be with Jimin and Jimin alone

Jimin was worried. Jungkook didn't answer his calls or return any of his messages and it had been raining outside heavily for a while now

Jungkook was forced to go to a club with his client and boss. He thought he would just drop them off and go home to Jimin. But his boss said he could get the once in a lifetime case if he impresses the client and so he stays. He never got a chance to message Jimin. Each time Jungkook took out his phone to message the boy, his boss would say something and distract him. In the end he ended up drinking a bit too much

Jimin is pissed as the seconds roll by. He thought they were in a good relationship ever since the day Jimin asked for a divorce and it's been 2 years since then. Why was it happening again? Jimin was anxious. He has been anxious for the past 2 weeks. He was afraid the past would recur again. He shuddered thinking of that possibility 

Jimin waited for his husband. He couldn't eat. The thunder and lightning outside just increased his anxiety. Was Jungkook alright?

Jungkook walks in a bit unstable from being drunk a little bit. 

Jimin was pissed 

"I'm so sorry honey…" Jungkook says nearing the boy "...I was so caught up in this case that…"

"It's always work…" Jimin interrupts the man "....I'm your husband, Jungkook. Give me your time too…" Jimin couldn't help his emotions "...and you keep saying you want kids.... will you ever have time for us…?" Jimin is crying 

Jungkook feels bad for not letting Jimin know his plan for the day but he was tired and in no mood to fight 

"Jimin, please understand… I'm tired....Let's talk tomorrow okay?" Jungkook says softly 

"No! I want you to choose right now. Is it me or your job?!" 

"Baby of course it's you…" Jungkook says calmly even though his head hurts "...but you have to understand that whatever I'm doing is for the both of us…"

"I didn't quit my job to be a house- husband .. I expect you to be home as well in reasonable hours…" Jimin says making Jungkook upset 

"I'm working for us okay! Please! Just stop it! Let's just sleep for now… I'm so tired" Jungkook sighs 

"Then sleep alone!" Jimin yells before slamming the door to their guest room

Jungkook was tired but he couldn't sleep. Jungkook kept tossing in his bed. He couldn't sleep without cuddling his tiny husband 

I miss you baby. Why do you have to make things so difficult? - Jungkook pouts 

Jungkook sighs and goes to the guest room when he hears another thunder. He knows how much Jimin hated it.

Jungkook's eyes soften when he sees the tiny figure shivering under the blankets. He could imagine Jimin covering his ears due to the loud sounds outside 

Jimin gasps when Jungkook wraps an arm around the boy from behind

"I'm sorry baby... please forgive me...you know I love you... and I was just trying to get hold of this high profile case.. I'm sorry... it's true that if it's not this job.. then I can get another... but I can't get another you... you are my life Jimin... there is no one and nothing that can come above you…" Jungkook whispers against Jimin's back making the boy smile 

"Even our  baby?" 

"Even our... huh?" Jungkook is confused 

"I'm pregnant" Jimin smiles as he turns around to face the man 

"Really?!" Jungkook's eyes are wide 

Jimin giggles "Yea… I'm sorry I was mad at you earlier… I know it's not really your fault but… I was just too excited about the news and I was waiting patiently for you to get home… I… "

Jungkook interrupts Jimin with a sudden kiss "...you have no reason to apologize… I get it… I would feel the same way if I was excited to share something with you and you weren't available…" Jungkook smiles with tears in his eyes "...thank you baby...thank you for loving me enough to give me a mini us…"

Jimin giggles at that and allows Jungkook to carry him into their bedroom. 

As soon as Jimin gets comfortable in bed, Jungkook calls up his boss and excuses himself from the case. Jimin was shocked and upset 

"Why would you do that? You worked so hard for it…" Jungkook smiles at that. Jimin sighs realizing Jungkook was not going to change his mind "....Won't you regret it?"

"No…" Jungkook is quick to say ".. but I will definitely regret it if I am not here to take care of you and our lil bean...." Jungkook wipes the tear that rolled off Jimin's eye "..I'm doing this all for us Jimin... I can get another case later on in life... but these precious moments with you and our baby... that,  no matter how much I try... I won't ever get it back... so no... "

"You can take the case and still be there for us…" Jimin pouts

"No.." Jungkook sighs ".... sadly my whole time will be spent on the case and it's research... I wouldn't have time for you and our little one... and that would kill me and make me perform badly at my job... so... let me be a bit selfish and be with you…." Jungkook smiles 

Jimin smiles at the genuine love that radiated from Jungkook's eyes 

"I love you Jungkook…"

"I love you too Jimin...and lil Jeon bean…" Jungkook pats Jimin's tummy, making the boy giggle
