Jungkook was Jimin's senior in college. Jungkook was one of the toppers at their college and he used to mentor his junior batches. Jimin was among the toppers in his year so he got to be involved with Jungkook academically in various projects, seminars, thesis, volunteer works and intercollege competitions. Jungkook and Jimin, they weren't really friends but they did acknowledge the other in college, since half their time would be spent together. Jungkook had a cold personality and had hardly any friends, if any. He never let anyone get close to him unnecessarily

After Jimin graduated, he was surprised when Jungkook's parents came to his parents with a marriage proposal. Now Jimin had no issues with this. Why? Because he had a tiny crush on the cold senior and besides that he was always set on marrying someone his parents brought him

The day the Jeons came to visit the Parks, Jungkook's mom entered the kitchen while Jimin was preparing some tea and snacks for the family. She smiles at the cute boy

"Aunty! You scared me!" Jimin exclaims when he notices her

She laughs "...I can see why my son loves you..."

Jimin's eyes widen

"What?"

"Jungkook was the one who showed me pictures of you on his phone and gave me all your family details...he said he would only marry you and noone else...." she smiles "....he waited till you graduated so that he could marry you... I'm really glad you said yes to this proposal... he has never shown interest in anyone before, I was afraid you would say no due to his cold personality...you do like him right?"

Jimin smiles slightly as he pats her hand. She was worried if Jimin was being forced

"...I like him, aunty..."

"Mom... call me mom..." she smiles wide knowing that Jimin liked her son back

Jungkook's personality though has been the same - before and after marriage.

The first night after the wedding, Jungkook saw that Jimin's eyes were teary. The man had overheard the Parks hugging Jimin and crying about the boy leaving them. Jimin was their only son.

Jimin was sniffing a bit as Jungkook drove the car to their new apartment.

"We are here..." Jungkook says and when Jimin looks out, he is surprised

"What?"

Jungkook comes around and opens his car door since Jimin seemed surprised

"We will stay here for the night... one more day with your family..." Jungkook says and Jimin could see the man cared about him. It made him feel special and loved

Jimin's parents were happy of course that their son would be with them for another night.

Jungkook and Jimin end up sleeping in Jimin's room but two minutes into this sleeping arrangement Jungkook gets up and rearranged the pillows and blankets

"What are you doing?" Jimin asks confused

"Making a pillow barrier..." Jungkook says his voice lacking emotion and somehow it caused an ache in Jimin's heart

The next day evening they go to their new apartment and Jungkook let's the boy chose a room as he took the other

Jimin was upset that Jungkook wanted to sleep separately. He thought the man loved him. Was he wrong? Jimin sighs
