A/N: pretty sure people don't like me including Y/N in my stories 🙃. I don't care 

Jungkook and Y/N are childhood friends. They cared for each other - both over protective of the other. Y/N became an orphan when she was 10 years old and Jungkook's parents had let her stay in their house. So the two became even closer after her parent's death

Years later, she announces that she has a boyfriend, Jin and moves in with him which was against the wishes of Jin's parents. 

Jungkook was upset. He loved Y/N as his sister and was worried about Jin and her living together. Jin's family was rich and obviously expected him to marry a girl from a rich family as well. Jin gave up his inheritance for Y/N. His parents continually threatened Y/N

In the meantime Jungkook gets married to Jimin according to Jungkook's parents wishes. Jungkook never gave Jimin much attention. He was always worried about Y/N to care about the boy but Jimin slowly started creeping into his thoughts when he was alone at work or sleeping. It was hard not to think of his husband- Jimin could be very mesmerizing with his innocent sexiness but above all, Jimin was caring and loving towards him, in spite of him being cold to Jimin.

"I'm sick of being second choice to everything ... I crave your attention too….Just because we are married doesn't mean that's it …"

"Jimin why don't you understand...I have other responsibilities…"

"I understand Y/N is like your sister and you guys have a connection but we are married now... I'm not asking you to choose between me and her... but please give me some of your time too…" 

That's when Jungkook finally realises that he had one more person who he was responsible for and who he had come to like in spite of him not wanting to accept that fact and soon he starts giving Jimin his time and pretty soon he fell for the boy. Jungkook still appeared cold but it was changing day by day, one step at a time

"The pen is on the counter, Jimin"

Jimin puts the pen in Jungkook's shirt pocket while the man is combing his hair. Jungkook was getting late for work and the man had asked Jimin to help get his things ready. When Jimin moves away, his bracelet gets caught in Jungkook's button and it breaks off in the movement.

"Aah! Please can you fix it" Jungkook groans

"O-Okay...can you remove your shirt?" 

"Can you do it like this? I don't think I will have time to dress up again…"

Jungkook bites his lips as he watches the boy fix the button. They haven't really been close to each other and Jungkook takes this time to admire his tiny husband. He wasn't really late for work, he just took this opportunity as an excuse to be closer to his husband. Jungkook's breath hitches when he feels Jimin come closer to his slightly  exposed chest to break the thread with his teeth - the way Jimin's lips brushed against his chest, his warm breath send shivers down Jungkook's spine

Jimin turned to move away when suddenly Jungkook held Jimin closer against him. Jimin looks at him in surprise. Jungkook's hand tightens around Jimin's waist as the other goes up to tuck the boy's hair behind his ear. They stare at each other for a few seconds before Jungkook leans in. Jimin closes his eyes, not really knowing what to expect but his eyes flew wide open when he feels Jungkook kiss his ear 

"Thank you…"

Jungkook bites his lips watching the boy shyly and hurriedly move away from him

Everything was well till one day Jungkook gets a call from the hospital that Y/N had an accident. His whole world comes crashing down. Y/N was carrying at the time, 8 months and Jin died in that accident while trying to save her. Jin's family had threatened her that they would kill her  and her baby if she didn't leave Jin, she didn't heed to it since Jin reassured her that his family were not that cruel. She cries in Jungkook's arms as she remembers the shock and sadness on Jin's face when Jin realises that his family was staying true to their threats - he had rushed over to her while she was crossing the road to save her, he saw the driver of the vehicle ho was headed straight for Y/N and he gets hit first instead in his attempts to save her 

"...run Y/N…." Jin manages to say "....please… stay safe for our baby…. I'm sorry I can't be with you anymore… I'm sorry for not protecting the both of you….forgive me…"

Y/N wasn't so injured from the accident but the force and the shock had increased her blood pressure so much that she had a lot of postpartum hemorrhage and there was no way to save her. She begs Jungkook as she takes her last breath on the hospital bed, to take care of her baby since she doesn't want her child to end up in an orphanage or into the hands of the Kim family. Jungkook readily agrees just as she dies in his arms

He hands the baby to his parents before he goes home to tell Jimin he wants a divorce. 

Jimin was shocked. Everything was slowly going the way a married life should go and suddenly Jungkook asked for a divorce. And no amount of crying or questioning would get Jungkook to give him a reason

Jungkook did that because he was afraid Jimin might say no to adopting the baby as their own. Jungkook felt like he might burden Jimin with his decision. They have only been together 9 months and they haven't even consummated their marriage. He couldn't imagine asking Jimin to take on such a huge responsibility. He was also afraid of the consequences of Jin's family learning about the baby. He didn't want Jimin to suffer in the backlash. Jungkook was not willing to let go of his promise to Y/N either. He felt Jimin would be better off without him. He loved Jimin with his whole heart but he always felt guilty for not giving Jimin his time earlier. Maybe now Jimin can find someone better

Jungkook spent his days away from Jimin, crying. He missed Jimin. He wanted Jimin but he felt he was not deserving of the boy. He felt he was keeping Jimin safe this way

Jungkook is home taking care of the baby in his parent's house. Jimin didn't divorce him. Jungkook told him to think about it 

Jungkook's mom tells Jimin what happened after seeing her son depressed and after realizing that Jungkook was the one who left Jimin

"Jimin..what are you doing here?" Jungkook is happy but surprised to finally see his husband. He held the baby to his chest

"Can I hold her?" Jimin asks extending his arms and Jungkook hands him the baby 

"Mom told me everything…" Jimin sighs as he rocks the baby "...why didn't you trust me Jungkook? Don't you know that I love you? Why didn't you even ask me if I wanted to adopt the baby or not? Why wasn't that choice given to me? Why did you have to make all the decisions? I'm an equal partner in this marriage Jungkook…" Jimin looks at Jungkook "...or is it because you didn't want me in your life anymore?"

"No! No… Jimin… I want you… I just didn’t want to burden you…. I…" Jungkook sighs 

"I love you Jungkook and I'm here to stay for the long haul…" Jimin smiles as he looks at Jungkook "...In sickness and in health remember?"

Jungkook finally gets down his tears  as he hugs the boy who was holding the baby 

"Thank you… thank you… I love you so much…" Jungkook cries as he kisses Jimin’s forehead 

Jimin smiles as he looks at the baby "...Have you  thought of a name for her yet?"

Jungkook shakes his head 

"Let's name her Y/N... I'm sure Y/N would have liked that…" Jimin smiles as Jungkook nods his head, his throat closing in a sob 

"Yea...she would have… please forgive me for everything I have done against you… please know I did it thinking it was the best for you… I'm sorry…"

"I know and I forgive you…"

"I love you Jimin…" Jungkook wraps his arms around Jimin and cups Jimin's hands that were holding baby Y/N "...thank you for accepting Y/N"

"I love you too Jungkook...she is my daughter too now"
