Jungkook and Jimin are married. It was an arranged marriage but they fell in love almost 2 weeks into their married life together.

They have been married for 2 years now and so they decide to try for a baby. They both loved kids and wanted to start their small family soon.

They had been trying for almost a year but with no success. They were disappointed but the love they had for each other kept them strong

These days Jimin was upset. Why? - he had been working on getting a promotion for the past few months and sadly he couldn't make it. Feeling disappointed, he informs Jungkook that he wanted to stop trying for a baby till the promotions for next year were announced.

Jimin was also worried for his mom who wasn't feeling well for a few weeks now due to her carpal tunnel syndrome, she couldn't move her right arm due to pain

So overall Jimin wasn't ready to have a baby and Jungkook of course understood.

Jimin faints one day in front of Jungkook. The boy hadn't eaten anything the whole day and was continuously working all through the night without any rest. He couldn't understand how worried Jungkook was for him and that led to them fighting over his health and just as Jungkook was about to walk out of the living room, he saw Jimin holding his forehead and losing consciousness. Thankfully Jungkook was able to catch the boy before Jimin ended up on the floor

Jungkook was worried and video called his cousin Jin who was a doctor

"He probably just fainted due to overwork, stress and lack of food... his body went to sleep for him in simple words.... don't worry Jungkook ah... just make sure he eats well and gets lots of rest... if he doesn't wake up in 3 to 4 hours, please come with him to the hospital and I will take care of the rest..."

Jimin woke up 1 hour later to see Jungkook cuddling next to him in bed, holding his waist tightly. Jimin smiles before leaning down to kiss the man's head

"I love you... I'm sorry I fought with you..." Jimin whispers before slowly removing Jungkook's hand off his waist and then goes to the bathroom, before coming back and joining Jungkook in bed

"Good morning babe...how are you? Why didn't you wake me up? I can cook for us... you should rest..." Jungkook asks wrapping his arms around Jimin's waist as the boy set up the table

Jimin smiles "...good morning... I'm so much better now baby..."

"Are you sure?" Jungkook asks the boy, turning him around "...should we see a doctor..."

Jimin laughs "...no.. why? It was clearly just fatigue from overwork..."

Jungkook sighs before pulling Jimin to sit with him on the couch

"Baby, what's wrong?" Jimin asks confused

"...babe tell me honestly... How are you doing? These past few weeks were stressful for you... I know... with work... and mom..."

"It's okay Jungkook... things will get on track slowly... Why are you asking?"

Jungkook gulps "... Have you thought about trying for a baby again?"

"Why?" Jimin stiffens at that "...I thought we decided that we wouldn't talk about this till next year... after the promotions are announced ..."

"A-are you really not okay with having kids now?" Jungkook was worried

"Stop it Jungkook! Stop saying this over and over again! You are annoying!" Jimin says standing up and storming away to the room

"Jimin!... I'm sorry..." Jungkook sighs

I will talk to him again when he is in a better mood

"Why did he bring it up again?" Jimin mumbles angrily "...he knows how upset I am about this matter... and he knows how stressed I am right now... why did he... aaaish!" Jimin angrily picks up all the clothes he needed to put in the wash when suddenly something fell out of Jungkook's pant pocket

"What is that? A stick?" Jimin thinks to himself as he takes it

Jimin's eyes widen when he saw that it was a positive pregnancy test

Jimin storms off angrily to face his husband

"What is this Jungkook?!" Jimin demands showing the test in Jungkook's face

Jungkook gulps

"What does this mean huh? Whose is it?!"

Jungkook doesn't know what to say

"Are you... are you cheating on me?" Jimin's eyes tear up

Jungkook's eyes widen

"Is it because I said we shouldn't try for now... is that why you slept with someone else?"

Jungkook frantically shakes his head "...Jimin...I..."

"Don't tell me that you just carry someone else's kit in your pocket... I won't believe you..." Jimin interrupts the man "...and if it's a prank... then I am gonna divorce you right now ... this is not something to joke about... you know how much I want kids... then why this prank... huh?" Jimin broke down into sobs

Jungkook immediately hugs him

"I'm sorry baby... please don't cry... it's your test... you are pregnant..."

"What?" Jimin pulls away to look at the man

Jungkook had his own set of tears "...I found out early morning..." Jungkook sniffles "...you always pee before dawn and never flush because you don't want to wake me up...when you woke up to pee, I wasn't asleep... I was still awake because I was worried about you... after you slept off, I took the pregnancy test we had and dipped it in the toilet bowl..." Jungkook smiles as tears roll down his cheeks "...I was so happy... so very happy to see that the test was positive... but then I got afraid... What if you don't want the baby? What if this is not the right time for us... I was worried about you... I didn't know how to tell you..."

Jungkook's words were cut off by Jimin tightly hugging him "...I'm happy too Jungkook..." Jimin's tears wet the man's shirt "...we both have wanted this for so long..." Jimin smiles pulling away from the hug "...there will never be a right or wrong time for having babies... when God gives us then that's the right timing..." Jungkook wipes the boy's tears "....thank you Jungkook for giving me this gift..."

Jungkook smiles "...thank you as well... I love you so much Jimin"

"I love you too Jungkook" Jimin smiles feeling Jungkook's lips against his forehead
