[116] STRESSFUL DAY KISS - Sept 2 2021

Jungkook had been busy the past couple of weeks. He had a huge meeting coming up and if he did well, it meant a promotion and bonus.

Jimin and the kids knew not to disturb Jungkook. The whole family was patiently waiting for Jungkook's birthday which was around the corner. His birthday would fall on the day Jungkook would present his ideas to his team leader and come to know if he had to modify or was to be kicked off this project.

Jungkook woke up stressed that morning at 5AM. He was nervous about the whole deal at work. Seeing Jimin already up and wishing him a happy birthday with breakfast in bed, did make him feel a bit better. Jungkook wanted to stay home and spend time with his family but sadly he had to rush to work after a quick breakfast

Jungkook's phone had been receiving messages and calls from his family and friends wishing him on his birthday but he had kept it on silent as he was busy with work and eventually it drained out of battery and switched off.

Jimin sighs as he is unable to reach his husband. His kids were constantly asking him about when the man would come home to celebrate his birthday.

"Dadda will come soon okay?" Jimin tries to pacify his 5 year old and 3 year old. "...you know he is stressed these days right? Today is an important meeting so let's cheer him up when he comes..hmm"

Jungkook sighs as he enters his house. Today was indeed a very stressful day. Thankfully,his ideas weren't totally rejected but he did have to work harder to please his clients. He was frustrated though, usually Jungkook would be calling Jimin at least twice from his office but today he couldn't and that made him upset the whole day.

He had been waiting the whole day to just get home to his family and enjoy a peaceful time when he opened the door to see the house a total mess - toys everywhere and the walls covered in chocolate and flour.

Jungkook lost his cool - all the frustrations from days ago, finally catching up to him

"What the actual...?!" He screams when he steps on a building block. Fck! That hurts!

Just then his beautiful family rushes in from the kitchen, his beautiful kids hold up cupcakes in his hands holding it up to him

"Happy birthday dadda!!!" They scream

Jimin notices how Jungkook's eyes fill up with emotion

"Okay my babies... you guys go eat your cupcakes and let dadda go freshen up okay?"

Jihyun and Jisoo rush to the dining table to devour the treat as Jimin leads Jungkook to their bedroom

Jimin hugs the man gently as soon as he closes the door behind him. Jungkook immediately hugs back

"...I know you had a tough day. Thank you for being mine and our kids... Thank you for doing everything you can to support us. We will always be there for you... will always support you... through everything... please remember that ..." Jimin says pulling away to wipe the man's tears he knows is waiting for his tiny hands "...we love you... I love you... your happiness and peace of mind is all we need..." Jungkook closes his eyes, feeling Jimin's soft hands against his cheek "...jobs, money... that will come and go... but you..." Jungkook looks at his tiny husband "....... that's something we can't afford to lose..." Jimin says before softly kissing the man's lips, making Jungkook cry a bit

"Now go freshen up. Forget whatever happened at work and enjoy your day with your family..." Jimin says making Jungkook smile

"Thank you..."

"I'm sorry for shouting earlier..." Jungkook says hugging his kids and thanking them for the cupcakes

"...It's okay dadda... we know you're tired. Appa told us you are struggling at work for us.... just like how I struggle with my maths homework..." Jisoo says making Jungkook chuckle

"I love you both so so much...." Jungkook says hugging his two kids

"We love you too" they hug their dad happily

Jimin smiles, tearing up as he watches his family hugging and laughing

Soon

They all eat dinner together, having fun with their food and end up cuddling together on the couch watching an animation movie.

Barely half an hour into the movie and the kids end up falling asleep between the two adults.

Jungkook pauses the movie before reaching out to hold Jimin's hand

"...thank you for being mine..."

Jimin smiles slightly "...let's get the kids to bed..."

Jungkook nods as he carries Jisoo while Jimin carries Jihyun and tuck the kids in bed

As soon as they reach their room, Jimin apologizes

"I'm sorry for not buying you a birthday gift..."

Money was a bit tight at the Jeon household at the moment

Jungkook shakes his head as he holds Jimin in his arms

"You guys are the best gift I could have ever asked for... you all are priceless to me ..." Jungkook runs his hands down Jimin's hands gently "...just kiss me baby... kiss me... hug me... and say that you love me ... that's all I need..."

"Come here..." Jimin says pulling Jungkook a bit closer to him, hugging him before kissing him softly

"I love you..." Jimin says pulling away and Jungkook chuckles at his husband's cuteness

"And I love you..." Jungkook says smoothly lifting Jimin off the floor and placing him on the bed gently ".. thank you for everything" Jungkook says leaning in to kiss the boy.

Jimin closes his eyes moaning at the feel of Jungkook's soft lips move against his

"I love you Jimin" Jungkook says, his body hovering over Jimin's

"I love you too, Jungkook ..." Jimin says wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck and pulling the man closer "...happy birthday, love"
