[59] SECOND MARRIAGE -April 22 2021

Jimin was married to Taemin. It was an arranged marriage. The man was very egotistical. He wanted things to go his way, according to his timings and when he needed it. Jimin had to obey with no questions asked. They were married for almost 8 months at this point. Taemin was very cold towards Jimin. He didn't respect the poor boy. Jimin often felt like a slave in front of the man. Jimin felt his title of a husband was just a show.

The day Jimin decides to ask for a divorce was the morning after his supposed husband forced himself on Jimin despite the boy's desperate pleas begging the man not to do so. Taemin was seduced by Jimin's after shower attire and couldn't control himself.

Taemin was upset at Jimin's persistence for a divorce. He apologizes and begs for another chance, promising Jimin to not repeat the same again. He liked Jimin even if he never showed it but Jimin was afraid of the man now and didn't want to take another chance. Jimin was terrified of what could happen and he didn't want to live in fear

2 years later, Jimin is again arranged to be married a second time. Jimin really didn't want to but his mom was always in tears worrying about the boy being alone. His mom's cousin brought the proposal. The man, Jungkook, had just returned back to Korea from the states. Jungkook had been working there ever since he was there for his studies. He is 30 years now. Jimin is 25.

Jungkook and his family had no issues with Jimin being a divorcee. Jungkook had spoken to Jimin and had come to like this shy yet beautiful and smart boy. Jimin seemed reserved but Jungkook knew it was due to the abuse Jimin had to go through in his first marriage

Jungkook has never been in a relationship before. He was more focused on building up his career and now that he had gotten enough experience and degrees, he decided to settle down and that's when his mom brings forth Jimin's proposal

Jungkook tried his best to get Jimin to talk and be free with him but with no luck. Jimin's mom had shown him Jimin's old pictures during his college days and videos of Jimin's performances and debate competitions. Jungkook really liked that bubbly nature of Jimin and wanted to see that more. He wanted Jimin to come out of his shell and live life the way Jimin wanted

After marriage, Jimin is uncomfortable sleeping together and moves to the guest room. Jungkook was hurt. He really liked Jimin and wanted to be closer to the boy.

Jimin on the other hand hated himself for doing this to his new husband. He felt himself useless and worthless. He felt scared of disappointing Jungkook but he also felt safe around the man. Jimin was conflicted

Jungkook frowns yet again when Jimin bows his head and keeps thanking Jungkook for every single thing the man did for Jimin, be it buying food for him or just handing Jimin a spoon. Everyday Jungkook would be thanked for something he did for Jimin. At first he liked it, Jimin was being shy and polite but now he felt it awkward

"I'm your husband. You don't have to keep thanking me for handing you your phone. Please be free with me. At least like a friend. Do you keep thanking your parents and other friends like this hmm?"

Jimin just shakes his head and bows his head

Jungkook sighs "...please talk to me... okay? About anything.... I'm here for you..."

One day Jimin wasn't feeling well. He had a bit of an upset stomach and slight fever with body aches. He prepared Jungkook's breakfast and as Jungkook ate, he noticed Jimin's eyes clench in pain

"Jimin...you okay?" Jungkook's voice was laced with concern

"I... I'm f-fine... just tired..."

"Alright..." Jungkook looks at his husband, not really believing him "...do you need me to stay? I can take today off and..."

"No! No... I'm fine...thank you..."

"I will be late today... I have a meeting that might go up to 11 pm.. "

"That's okay. I'm fine.. thank you for caring about me..."

Jungkook frowns again. Seriously he was fed up of being thanked for everything he did

Jungkook couldn't concentrate at work. Jimin's face distorting in pain made him uncomfortable. He calls Jimin and the boy doesn't answer. He keeps calling and messaging the boy till his calls get directed to voicemail - implying that either Jimin switched off the phone or the battery died.

Jungkook rushes off, already asking his boss to cancel the meetings he had. His heart breaks when he finds Jimin in bed, moaning in his sleep, in pain. Jungkook touched the boy's forehead to find it burning hot. Jungkook took care of his husband that entire night

Jimin felt bad the next day when he woke up to Jungkook sitting next to him, a wet cloth on his forehead.

"Why didn't you tell me sweetheart?" Jungkook's voice is husky as he wakes up. Jimin's heart beat fast at that - he often felt that when the man uses nicknames for him and combined with that husky voice, it was quite a dangerous combination

"I..I didn't want to trouble you with my problems..." Jimin says making Jungkook stand up in anger

"Trouble?My problems?" Jungkook scoffs "...I'm your husband Jimin. It's not your problem alone anymore. And I'm doing things because I want to and not because I'm obligated to. Do you not realise how much you are hurting me by hiding things from me?..."

Jimin is wide eyed at Jungkook's outburst

Jungkook's voice cracks "....did you ever consider me as your husband, Jimin? Do you not trust me? How long should I wait for you baby? Can't you see I love you... I'm yours honey... and I'm here for you. I am not like your ex..."

Jimin sobs watching the man in front of him tear up "... I just didn't want to burden you with my silly problems..."

"It's not silly if it's you" Jungkook cups the boy's face and wipes his tears

"I... I love you Jungkook and..." Jimin says and Jungkook can't help but smile at that shy confession"...I'm so sorry for not being more open with you... I trust you... I never doubted that... please don't feel that way... I know how bad that hurts... I'm sorry..."

Jungkook hugs the boy. Jimin sighs as the warmth embraces him.

"It's okay baby... forget the past...forget that man... and let's focus on our present and future...hmmm?" Jungkook pulls away from the hug to softly place a kiss against the boy's forehead

"I love you my Jiminie..."

"I love you too ....my K-Kookie" Jimin shyly says making Jungkook chuckle at his tiny husband's cuteness
