Jungkook and Jimin are dating in high school. Y/N is Jungkook's childhood best friend. Jimin doesn't like her as she is very clingy with Jungkook and also tries to show off how much better she knows Jungkook than Jimin

Jungkook knows that Jimin feels jealous and he encourages Y/N to be clingy. Why? Because Jungkook finds it cute. Jungkook was always the one being jealous so he found it amusing to make Jimin feel it for once

The day of their graduation, Jungkook and Y/N go out to celebrate at a club, along with their other classmates. Jimin didn't join them as he had chores to do at home

Y/N gets drunk hearing Jungkook talk non stop about Jimin. She also craved love like that and in her hormonal drunken state, she kisses him suddenly. She didn't like Jungkook that way but she was jealous of Jimin and feared the boy would steal her best friend from her

2 days later Y/N couldn't take it anymore- Jungkook stopped talking to her so she goes to Jimin to apologize and ask for her friend back, that's when Jimin hears the truth and he was hurt

Jungkook walks in to see Taehyung standing near the bar with his box smile. Just as Jungkook was about to greet the man, he noticed a familiar short figure next to the taller man. His heart beat fast as he walked closer to them

"Ggukie!" Taehyung says making the smaller boy turn around

Jungkook froze as he saw the tiny humans face - Jimin

"J-Jungkook..." Jimin whispers

"Jimin?" Jungkook's eyes reflected his excitement

Jungkook smiles looking at Jimin "I choose to believe this is fate..."

The two couldn't take their eyes off each other

"Wait!" Taehyung says observing them "...is this your Kookie who you miss so much, Jimin? And Chim is your fated love?"

Jungkook walks closer to Jimin and holds his hands "...I never stopped loving you..."

"...he never stopped either..." Taehyung says "...he never stops blaming himself for the breakup..."

Jimin looks down

"I will just leave..." Taehyung says leaving the two alone

"I love you, Jimin... it's been a year now... can you forgive me for not telling you what happened that evening and accept me again?"

"I forgave you a long time away Kookie... I just... I was too ashamed to apologize for blaming you for something that is not really your fault... I'm sorry Kookie... I really am... please forgive me..." Jungkook hugs the crying boy "...I love you so much... I want to be yours again..."

Jungkook smiles as he pulls away to cup the boy's cheeks "...I love you .."

A/N: Do you understand where Jimin's decision to break up is coming from? Jungkook didn't take Jimin's jealousy and discomfort to heart.
