Jungkook and Taehyung were the best of friends, they were inseparable until Jimin came into the picture.

Taehyung was a naturally friendly guy and made friends with everyone he met. Jungkook was never jealous of that because Taehyung considered Jungkook his best friend at the end of the day.

Jimin is Taehyung's brother, Namjoon's boyfriend, Jin's cousin. Jimin moved to Seoul university and Namjoon had asked Taehyung to take care of the boy.

Jungkook was mesmerized when he first saw Jimin. It was the first time for him to experience such a feeling and he wanted to make friends with Jimin but his introverted self prevented him from doing so and in fact made him appear cold towards the tiny boy because he didn't like Jimin being friendly with anyone.

Taehyung and Jimin hit it off as soon as they met. They became soulmates leaving Jungkook to be the third wheel unintentionally. Jungkook hates Jimin - at least that's what he told himself whenever he saw the other two mingling.

Taehyung started spending much less time with Jungkook as he hung out with Jimin a lot more. Jungkook would often join the two when Jimin invited him. And then the day would end with Jungkook being rude and hurting Jimin's feelings by calling him clumsy or clingy for falling over Taehyung when the boy laughed. Though Jungkook wouldn't comment the same if Jimin fell over him accidentally

The more Jimin and Taehyung spent time together, their friendship deepened as they had a lot in common and they understood each other. When their parents saw the two always together, they asked the friends if being married to the other would be a bad idea and the two didn't oppose it.

Jungkook was heartbroken when Taehyung announced the news. That's when he realized that he had loved Jimin all this time and couldn't imagine Jimin being someone else's. The internal struggle he had with himself, convincing himself that he hated Jimin was, in fact, the opposite.

Jungkook drank a lot that night. He couldn't handle the pain. He goes to Jimin's apartment in his slightly drunk self.

Jimin's apartment door was open as Jungkook enters it

"...yes Tae... thank you for understanding.... I love you..." Jimin says into the phone

Jimin turns around, flinching at the sound behind him

"Oh Jungkook..." Jimin smiles, though surprised "...what are you doing here?"

"Was that Taehyung you talked to?" Jungkook ignores Jimin's question

"Yea... it was about the wedding..." Jimin starts, blushing a bit

"Oh..."

"I am going to come see you..." Jimin says "...I wanted to tell you .."

"Let's have a drink!" Jungkook interrupts the boy and goes into Jimin's kitchen and prepares drinks for them. He was in no mood to listen to anything Jimin had to say, especially about the wedding

"Jungkook.. listen..."

"Just drink!" Jungkook holds up the glass to Jimin's lips

Jimin always had a low tolerance for alcohol but Jungkook made him drink. Jungkook wanted to admire the boy one last time before the boy became someone else's

"What happened last night?" Jimin asks holding the sheet to his chest. Jimin just woke up to find himself shirtless and to a shirtless Jungkook sleeping next to him.

Jungkook smirks "...what do you think?"

"Did you really take advantage of me..." Jimin's throat closes in a sob. He has vague memories of Jungkook's lips brushing against his forehead

"What if I did!" Jungkook coldly says as he stands up and fixes himself

"....Do you know what I wanted to say to you yesterday?" Jimin's voice cracks

"It doesn't matter now" Jungkook says arrogantly

Jimin sobs

"You are mine now..."

Jungkook walks away and goes to Taehyung to ask him not to marry Jimin

That's when Taehyung tells him that Jimin canceled the wedding because Jimin realized that he has loved Jungkook all along

The phone call Jungkook overheard was Jimin calling Taehyung and telling him that he didn't want to marry Taehyung. Taehyung had tried to kiss Jimin that day and Jimin didn't let him. Jimin was confused why he suddenly didn't like Taehyung's touches, that's also when he realized that Jungkook touching him always sent a chill down his spine.

"You love me?" Jungkook goes to meet the boy

"Does it matter now! I don't want to be with someone who used me without my consent!"

"I didn't do it with you! I lied! I lied because I thought that would make you marry me and be with me! I'm sorry but I love you so much!" Jungkook exclaims making Jimin remember their night

Flashback

"You are sooooooo handsome you know Jungkook ah... why are you soooooo cold to me though? What did I do? Sometimes it seems like you care so deeply for me... your eyes and actions can't lie... but then the next moment you talk so rudely to me... do you really hate me that much?" Jimin was drunk as he pouts

Jungkook sighs "...I didn't mean to make you feel like that... I .." Jungkook stops when Jimin vomits on the both of them

Jungkook had to take care of the boy. It was a struggle to take the shirt off the boy but Jimin didn't allow Jungkook to put on a new shirt.

"I will miss you" Jungkook kisses the boy's forehead

And they both slept together shirtless

Jimin wakes up and he has vague memories of Jungkook removing his shirt and carrying him to bed. The thought that Jungkook took advantage of him made him cry

Back to present

"....I love you too but what are we even doing? This is so unhealthy. Why? Why couldn't we be like any other normal human and communicate better..."

"I'm sorry Jimin ah... I'm sorry for everything..." Jungkook pulls Jimin into a hug "...please trust me when I say I didn't take advantage of you and I never.. "

Jimin sobs into Jungkook's chest "...I trust you..."

A tear rolls down Jungkook's cheek as he pulls away from the hug to cup the boy's face "...I love you so much. Please be my boyfriend"

"I would love to..." Jimin smiles "...I love you too"
