I stared at his handsome face deeply, this is probably the last time I'll be able to do this. After living with him under the same roof for years, being married and committed to him for a long yet short period of time made me so dependent towards him. I rarely struggle because it's him who always carry me, he's the one who gives solution and solve my problems like those were his. Nag-iwas ako ng tingin nang siya naman ang tumitig sa akin.

I licked my lower lip, they used to be so soft and plump because he always remind me to put moisturizer whenever it slipped from my mind or whenever I am too lazy to do it, he does it for me. My nails looks so dull without proper trimming and nail gel to highlight my long and thin fingers. Bumaba rin ang tingin niya sa aking mga kamay, na walang suot kahit na anong pulseras, kahit ang singsing namin noong kasal... inalis ko dahil gusto kong patunayan na desidido na ako. Wala ng magpapabago sa isip ko kahit sundin man niya lahat ng sinasabi ko, kahit magmakaawa pa siya.

"Look at yourself. I thought you can handle everything? You've lost too much weight."

I thought so, too, Callant...

"Don't overthink, it's because of work." Mabilis kong sagot.

He sighed and stood up.

Dalawang buwan din siyang nawala para samahan ang kanyang mama sa ibang bansa. I made him choose between me and his mother. He knew that if he choose me, I'll bring up the annulment, if he choose his mother we'll stay with long distance relationship.

I heard him opened the refrigerator. "You haven't touched anything here. It's still full."

"I bought groceries yesterday." Pagsisinungaling ko dahil sa buong pananatili niya sa ibang bansa, nasa mansiyon ako para kahit papaano maibsan ang pangungulilang nararamdaman ko. Inuutusan ko lang ang ilang kasambahay ni Daddy na daanan ang mga pusa araw-araw at para na rin maglinis.

"You can't lie to me, Miranda." Tumayo siya sa gilid ko, nakita ko ang pagbulsa niya ng isang kamay at ang isa ay naglapag ng isang box ng doughnut. Fuck! I should've checked everything before he arrived. "I bought these before I went to Hawaii."

Huminga siya ng malalim at nagsimulang itapon lahat ng sirang pagkain mula sa ref. Ang pananahimik niya at naging dahilan kung bakit nanggilid ang luha sa aking mga mata. "H-have you heard what happened to Ate and Caspian?"

Natigilan siya at hindi nagsalita. Of course, he knew it. Ate told me that Callant was there when he confronted Caspian and Ate Autumn. "You probably know that Caspian is cheating on my sister from the very start."

"What do you mean by that?" Humalukipkip siya, sinalubong ko ang tingin niya.

"I can't handle this anymore. Let's annul this marriage, Callant."

"What?" Ang kaninang walang emosyon niyang mukha ay napalitan ng pagkagulat at takot.

"You tolerated your friend while he's cheating on my sister. Anong pinagkaiba mo sa kanya, Callant?" Tumayo ako para mas magkaroon ng tapang, para hindi ako nanliliit habang nakaupong tinitingala siyang nakatayo. "How can I stay married to you if you can't even try to stop your friend from ruining my sister? From hurting my family?"

"It's not what you think it is. If this is about Autumn then you're wrong. She's not pregnant because-"

"I don't want to hear your version because I know it's crooked." Matapang kong sabi sa kanya.

I just want to push him away so he'll be free with his mother, free from obligations, free from responsibilities. His mother may be wrong from accusing me on putting restraint on him, but she's right when I am the reason why he's staying. Dahil sa akin, ayaw umalis ni Callant para samahan siyang mamuhay sa ibang bansa. Dahil sa akin pinagkakaitan siya ni Callant ng oras.
