He agreed to the annulment, it is far from what I've expected. Tamang nagmatigas siya noong una pero hindi ko talaga inaasahan na sasabihin niya sa akin 'yon. I felt a pang of pain on my chest.

"May hindi pa ba tayo nagawa?" Pinilit kong ngumiti pero nang makitang seryoso siya at malamlam ang mata ay nahilaw ang ngiti ko. "Things like...?"

"Nagawa na natin 'yon, nakalimutan mo na?"

"Let's have some dates abroad, then. I'll take you to countries I like-"

"That will take too long." Bulong ko.

"Does it still bother you? Gusto mo less in a month?" He crouched and caressed my head.

"Hindi naman..." biglang sumilay ang ngiti sa kanyang labi. Ayaw kong mag-isip pa siya ng kung ano-ano kaya bumalik ako sa dating puwesto para maipagpatuloy ang pagpirma sa mga papel.

"Susunduin kita bukas." Sabi niya at bumalik ang hawak sa aking hita.

"No need. Sasabay ako kina Gella at Yannie."

"They can go to the airport on their own. Susunduin kita." Pagpupumilit pa niya.

"And you? You can't go to the airport on your own?" Tinapunan ko siya ng tingin.

"I can't. Kailangan-"

"Then, ask Sharlot to come with you." Pairap akong bumaling sa mga papel. I picked up the pen and wrote my name on the paper before putting my signature.

"Bakit? Sino ba ang asawa ko?"

"Malay ko sa 'yo. Mamaya dalawa pala kami." Mabilis kong nilipat sa kabilang pahina ang papel at muling pinirmahan iyon.

"Tsk. Just let me pick you up on your condo or let me sleep with you tonight. Hmm?"

I shook my head. "Neither."

When I realized that the one I'm holding is the last set of paper, I finished it quickly. I stretched out my arms and massaged my nape.

"I'll sleep with you tonight. You gave me no choice."

Hindi ko siya pinansin at inayos na ang pagkakasalansan ng mga papel. Tumulong siya habang nasa akin pa rin ang tingin. At nang matapos na ay kinuha niya lahat at dinala sa labas.

I heard him talking to my secretary just outside my office. Tanaw ko ang pagtango ni Belle kay Callant habang nagsasalita ito. "Thank you."

"My pleasure, Sir."

He nodded and closed the door behind him. Naglakad siya pabalik sa kanyang upuan. I relaxed myself by leaning my back against the backrest.

"I'll sleep with you tonight." Pag-uulit niya, pinapaalalahanan ako. I heaved a sigh and just nodded. Pumikit ako para hindi na niya ako guluhin pero mas nayanig ang sistema ko nang magsalita ulit siya. "One of the things we didn't do is making love inside an office."

Napabangon ako at dumilat. "What the hell?! Really? Make love inside an office? This is where work is done. And love making is done inside the house or room."
