"So, why didn't your parents come back?" Harry asked after the celebration of agreeing to stay over a night which consisted of one: Louis.

"Oh, didn't my parents tell you? Your recording studio got broken into," I replied.

"Oh. Wow. So, how are we going to do the collab thing, without the studio?" he asked again.

My dad is a songwriter. He wrote some up One Direction's first album and wrote a track or two on the new one. Dad was thinking to lift Alice's fame by doing a song with One Direction, hence why they're here. I think tonight was to just get to know each other, and here I am, seventh wheeling.

"I don't know. Maybe you guys will come over here to work with my dad. I'm not really sure," I replied.

"Well, I'm starving, and I'm assuming you girls haven't eaten either?" Niall asked. I will never not shiver to that Irish accent of his.

"There's Nando's nearby. About a ten minute walk?" Alice suggested.

"Yeeees Nandos," he cheered as he stood up. "Let's go."

Eager one.

Liam, Louis and Niall were walking at the front, but I'm pretty sure they didn't know where they were going. Alice and Harry a few steps behind them, talking about the collaboration and I was at the back with Zayn. We walked in silence.

"So..." he said, breaking the silence, "want to tell me what happened earlier tonight?"

"Um, I was at my best friend's 19th and I was forced to leave coz you guys were here.." I trailed off. Those words slipped out of my mouth without me even thinking about them and I'm pretty sure they came out harsher than I expected.

"Ohhh... sorry about that, we didn't know..."

"It's alright, it wasn't your fault anyway. And besides, my night isn't totally ruined, I'm having fun." I replied in a more cheery tone.

"Oh, well, that's good," he replied giving me a small smile which I returned.

We got to Nando's and we placed our orders. Niall was the first to order and he did it straight up without having to look at the menu. He did it so confidently, it was almost weird, like he had done this a thousand times before.

Our orders came and we all dug into our food as we were all quite hungry. Ten minutes later, I felt like we were being watched. I looked in the corner of my eye and saw a middle aged guy just staring at us. Old black leather shoes, black pants, a plain white shirt and a black leather jacket. He was bald, and as much as I wanted to turn around to look at him, my mind was telling me to just continue with my food. I shrugged it off, hoping it was just some curious guy or something.

"So..." Louis said as soon as we got back home, "what are we going to do?"

"Let's go down to the beach," Harry suggested, "we can sit and relax there for a bit, and get to know each other better?"

"That sounds like a great idea," Liam replied.

I really didn't know what the difference was between talking at home and talking on the beach, but nonetheless, I gave in and we walked down to the beach.

We sat down on the sand in a semicircle facing the sea. It was a full moon and it reflected onto the water and it wasn't as dark as I thought it would be. It was actually quite breathtaking at night, seeing the water glisten in the moonlight.

"Lets play a game of truth. I'll start.." Louis said with a sly smile, "Niall.. How hot is Maddy on a scale of one to ten?"

No.
