I took my clothes off and slipped on my new dress. I went into my bathroom as Alice instructed me to and she curled my hair while I changed my studs to the Chanel earrings. After Alice curled my hair and almost burning it off as she did so, I put on my new white converse and my leather jacket. I walked over to my mirror and examined myself. I felt like a new person. Probably because 90% of what I was wearing was new. But there was also a small feeling in my stomach. I couldn't describe what the feeling was, but it was a good feeling. A feeling of happiness and refreshment.

"Hurry up! You're taking forever!" Alice yelled from downstairs. I ignored her remark, grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.

"You look so pretty!" my sister complimented.

"Thanks," I replied as I looked down onto myself and then back up. The boys were all standing there and watching me.

"You look beautiful," my mum complimented as she walked over to me and pulled me in for a hug. "Let's take some photos."

I took one with my parents and Alice, one with just Alice and one with the boys. The smile on my face when I took the photos was genuine. I felt loved and that feeling doesn't come to me much. It felt good.

"Niall's on the beach so you should probably go meet him now," Liam suggested. Butterflies began to form just at the mention of his name.

"Okay, well I'll see you guys later then?"

They responded with yeah's and nods. After exchanging goodbyes, I stepped out of the house and into the cool winter air. It was rather warm considering that it had been snowing. Wearing just a dress with stockings and a leather jacket was just warm enough. I walked down a few roads and then onto the beach. I scanned the beach and found Niall. He was looking out to the ocean, about five metres away from where the water was licking the sand. I adjusted my curls slightly and walked over to him. I walked up behind him, just several feet away from him. I continued walking and as I got close enough, I slipped my hands through his arms and let my arms wrap around his body. He jumped a little at this.

"You scared me," he stated as he broke the hug to give me a proper hug. I laughed as he wrapped his strong arms around my waist as I draped my around his neck. I breathed in his familiar scent and smiled. Without breaking the hug, he leant down and placed his lips onto mine. My head went into a spin of happiness as this happened. Our lips moved in sync and more butterflies filled my stomach. This was all too good. It almost didn't seem real, like this was all just a dream. But it wasn't. It was reality.

"I missed you," I said to him as we both pulled away from the kiss, still clung onto each other. I looked into his sparkly blue eyes as I said this.

"I missed you too," he echoed quietly with his hot breath against my lips before pecking mine with his. "You look beautiful," he complimented as he released the hug. He then held a red rose in front of me. "For you."

I took the rose and held the stem between my fingers. I breathed in the scent as my eyes closed and opened as I exhaled.

"Thank you," I replied with a smile. He then took out a jewellery box and held it in front if me. My lips slightly parted at this.

"You didn't have to get me anything," I said to him.

"What type of boyfriend would I be if I didn't?" he retorted.

"A good one."

"So what am I now?"

"A bad one.." I jokingly moped as I took the box out of his hands. I slowly flicked up the lid and the corners of my lips rose into a smile at what I saw. A thin silver necklace with a small love heart on it. It was so simple but so beautiful at the same time. I struggled to find words to thank him with.
