Two days without the boys. I've got to admit, I was a bit bored. But that didn't matter anymore, as they were coming back today and staying for the next four nights. Even if they needed to work, it was still fun, coz we would have breakfast, lunch and dinner together and do the usual late night talks everyday.
The doorbell rang and I put down my glass of water and proceeded to the door. I swung the door open, letting them in. They dropped their bags to hug and greet me, and of course, Niall's hug was longer than the others and they just had smirks on their faces. I don't think I'll ever not melt or freeze when I hug Niall.
"We're gonna go drop our bags off in our room and we'll have to head up to the studio to meet your dad. But we'll see you tonight, yeah?" Liam concluded.
"Yeah," I agreed, giving him a smile which he returned. They then headed up the spiral staircase as I sat in the lounge room.
I took out my phone to check my twitter. Some new followers and some mentions, but nothing really important. I scrolled through my time line and something caught my eye. I clicked on the link and it opened up to an article. The heading read:
"Niall Horan finds a new woman?"
The bold black text was then followed by a photo of me and Niall on the balcony that afternoon when I had told him. We were hugging. You couldn't see our faces that clearly, but it was clear enough that it was Niall.
Ugh, rumours.
The photo was followed by a large paragraph of text that I didn't even bother to read. I slipped my phone into my pocket and walked to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. I headed upstairs to my room and grabbed my book and proceeded to the balcony. I passed the studio where my sister, the boys and my dad were working. I gave them a simple wave through the glass panel thing and continued down the hallway, passing the door to the studio. I slid the glass door open, stepped onto the cold white tiles and closed the sliding glass door, leaving a little gap. I walked passed where Niall and I sat next time, and headed to the other side of the balcony. I leaned my back on the armrest of the lounge chair sofa thing, and brought me legs up so I was taking up the whole sofa. It was one of those that were woven with brown plastic and were designed for outdoors. I placed my cup of tea on the table to my left, grabbed the sheet blanket thing that was folded up near my feet and wrapped it around my body, snuggling into it. I brought out my book, opened it up to where I had read up to, and slipped myself into someone else's story.

After dinner, we took showers and got ready for our nightly talks in the boys' room. I headed to my bathroom, stripped my clothes off and went into the shower. I turned on the water and steam filled the room. The hot water felt good against my skin, even if it was almost burning it. I washed and conditioned my hair, stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me. I walked out of the bathroom and into my room and took out a jumper and a pair of track pants. I walked back into my bathroom and wiped all my makeup off. I stared at my reflection. I face looked so... naked, exposed. There was nothing to hide behind and it's funny that I even let the boys see me without makeup.
I walked to the gaming room and stood outside with a smile rising on my face. It was all set up, just like last time. It was cute. The furniture to the side, their bags and someone's guitar against the wall near the door, and white blankets and pillows spread out all on the floor. I saw Alice's iPod dock plugged into the wall. A little music was what this room was missing. Aw.
Zayn and Liam were sitting on the floor, waiting for everyone else to come. I'm guessing Niall was getting food and Harry and Louis were still in the bathroom, waiting for the other person to be out. Alice is probably just getting changed or something. I entered the room and sat next to Zayn. That reminds me, I need to talk to him. Maybe now wasn't the time, but he still seemed a bit unsettled since he saw Katie.
