I gradually woke up to the feeling of someone stroking my hair. My arms were draped over Niall's body. I shut my eyes hard for a second and reopened them. I had no motivation to get up. Everyday was so dull.

I looked up at Niall who was looking back at me. Looking into his eyes had already brightened up my day. His eyes seemed a little different today. They were the most amazing blue they've ever been. It was hard to not just stare into them for five hours.

"Morning beautiful," he said to me with a smile that was just so perfect. He kissed me on my cheek while while I blushed a light pink. "Do you know what today is?" he asked.

"Friday?" I replied half awake.

"No," he responded with a small laugh. I heard him take in a quick breath before he spoke. "Will you be my valentine?"

My heart skipped a beat at what he just said and a smile grew on my face. I must be the worst girlfriend to forget a day like this. I looked up at him with, trying to hide my smile.

"I'd love to."

I walked downstairs after getting dressed up for a day like today. At the bottom of the stairs was Niall holding the largest bouquet of red roses I had ever seen. My mouth dropped instantly in awe.

"Happy Valentines Day," he said to me as I slowly finished walking the last few steps still with my mouth open. I took the large bouquet out of his hands and held them in mine. I looked up to his eyes that were piercing blue. There was just something about them that made them even more stunning today.

"I'm the worst girlfriend."

"No, you're the best," he argued. "Do you want to put them upstairs and then we can go?"

I nodded in response and walked back upstairs. I placed the heavy flowers on my chair with the teddy bear from the carnival. I examined myself in the mirror one more time. The necklace Niall gave me reflected with every little movement. I held it between my finger tips. This last month couldn't have been any better. Everyday, I fall for Niall a little more. He's just so overwhelming and full of surprises. The thought of him brought a small smile to my face. I never believed anyone could be as perfect as him. It makes me bubble with happiness that he even likes me. Everything is so surreal and it's even hard for me to believe that he's actually my boyfriend.

I dropped the necklace out of my finger tips and walked out of my room. There, I collided with Louis. He looked a bit better today, a little less mopey and miserable, but he still looked sad.

"Hey," he said to me in a tone which I could not clarify if it was happy or sad.

"Hey."

"Have a good day today."

"Thanks."

I gave him a small smile representing my sympathy towards him which he returned. The fact that everything with Harry has put Louis into this state of loneliness, he's still so kind. He'll probably be spending today at home, not that he wants to but he'll choose to. He doesn't deserve to be like this. I wish they'd make up already.
