"Let's go out for a walk."

I looked up from my book and laid my eyes on the blue eyed and blonde haired boyfriend. The term 'boyfriend' still seemed new, though our relationship was slowly creeping out of the early stages.

"Where to?" I asked.

"Anywhere."

"But it's snowing."

"So?"

I took on a sharp breath at his eagerness.

"Fine," I have in as I placed my bookmark in my book and dumped it onto my bed.

-

"It's bloody freezing!" I almost yelled as we stepped outside and the cold breeze hit me. I tightened my scarf around my neck and rubbed my hands together to attempt to generate some heat.

"Is that better?" he asked smugly as he placed an arm around my torso, pulling me closer to him. Although our skin wasn't in contact, I felt warmer just by being in contact with his clothes.

"Maybe.."

He rolled his eyes as I wrapped my arm around his body in response.

Ten minutes later, I didn't even know where we were. I was to absorbed into Niall and our pointless conversations. Before I knew it, I hear the cute sounds of children's laughter. A few kids were running around the snow-covered playground and squealing as they got hit with a snowballs. Their parents sat on a bench nearby, talking and getting to know each other. Niall then walked over to the swings, dragging me along with him. He then let go of my hand, shook the swing so the snow fell to the ground and gestured for me to sit on it while he did the same to the swing next to mine. I sat down on the cold plastic and let my almost numb fingers curl around the freezing silver chain. I watched the kids squeal as they ducked the snowballs aimed at them as I slowly swung back and forth on the swing. I envied them. I envied how they were so happy and that they didn't have to worry about anything.

Niall and I continued talking and soon the few kids soon left with their parents. Niall then suddenly stood up from his swing and started walking away. I watched in confusion as he went behind the slide and ducked down. Next minute, a chunk of snow gets hit on my stomach. I raised my eyebrows at Niall who was found this all too amusing while I dusted the now melted snow off me.

"It's on," I challenged as I hopped up out of my swing. I bent down and scooped up some snow in the palm of my hands. I marched over next to the blue plastic stairs and aimed my snowball at him. Realising that he had one in his hand as well, I ducked down straight away after my throw. I shovelled more snow into my hands and crawled over to the left. I peered over the slide but my attention soon snapped to the voice behind me.

"Incoming!" the Irish accent sounded. I turned around and threw my snowball at him straight away as his hit my chest. I stood up and ran away from him around the playground. We both were shovelling up snow and launching it at each other. Me and my old friends used to always have snowball fights when we were younger and doing this for the first time in years felt nice. It reminded me of my childhood. I had a good childhood and now that I was having a snowball fight with Niall was just amazing.

I ran away from Niall but of course he was much faster than me. He caught up to me and wrapped his strong arms around me, stopping me from running away. I suddenly felt a lot more warmer with his body against mine, even though there were quite a few layers of clothing between us. He pressed a warm kiss on my cold skin, sending waves up tingles through my body. I could already feel my cheeks heat up by his small gesture. He let go of my body and held my numb hand in his.

"Your hands are freezing," he stated. He brought up both of my hands and rubbed them between his warm palms. My fingers were soon back to normal.

"Let's go buy the album," he suggested as he entwined my fingers with his. I nodded and smiled at him and we began walking.

-

"So, what's the point of buying an album? We have our phones and cameras to keep our photos on," I said as he laid the album and several metalic pens on my bed.

"Well, it's proof that we were ever together. If you have it on your phone, it can be deleted and it's nice to have a physical copy of the photos."

I smiled at his answer.

"You won't remember everything, so when they're in here, they'll be memories that'll last forever."

Forever isn't a word I particularly like. No one can promise or guarantee forever. The memories will last forever, but how awkward would it be if we didn't? You'd look back at it in ten years time, and you'd feel weird if you weren't married to Niall. But now was waaayyy too early to even think about marriage yet consider it. I don't know how long we will last, especially when we're still in the early stages of our relationship. You can't predict the future. But when Niall said it, it felt different. I'm not saying that we will last forever, not that I don't want us to, but the slightest chance that we actually could brought a smile to my face. He makes me happy and when I'm with him, I forget about everything and enter my own world with him. It's just crazy how one person can have such an effect on you. Over time, this album will have a thousand stories to tell, from start to end, if there's going to be an end, which I don't want. But right now, the album was just waiting for a story to hold onto. Forever.

"You're a bit cute."

"Mhm."

-

"What do you want for your birthday?" Harry asked.

"Nothing," I replied with a smile.

"Well, too bad. You're getting something from all of us whether you like it or not," Liam joined in.

"But I want nothing. Can you all give me nothing?"

"Nope," Louis replied.

"Seriously, what do you want? We don't want to get you something they you won't like," Zayn said as he ran his fingers through his dark hair.

"I like nothing."

They all just shot me an annoyed face while I smiled back at them.

"We're going shopping on Saturday," my sister declared.

"Why?" I questioned.

"Coz.. I like shopping."

It sounded like she was hiding something but I just shrugged it off.

In a way, it was weird having people care about your birthday so much. It felt good though, as if people actually like and care about you. But then again, they don't know about my past and if they did, they probably won't like me. I didn't even like me for a while. No one liked me apart from Katie and now I don't even see her. Somehow, not seeing her was easier than expected. I guess it's because the boys are with us five days a week. We've all grown really close. I want to tell them but I'm afraid of what they'll think. It's hard keeping a secret from the ones you're closest to, and these boys, they're my best friends. They're the best people I've met and they're like brothers to me. It's been a month, but I feel like I've known them for years. They're amazing and I can't be more thankful for having the five best friends in the world.
