"So, how was the photo shoot?" I asked as I began making myself comfortable with the pillow.

"It was good. I started off a bit awkward, but it got better," Alice replied as she slipped her legs under her blanket.

"That's good."

It was progressively getting harder to hide my relationship with Niall. We'd pretend to be friends, and every now and then, Zayn or Liam would say a smart comment and the others would just stare at them with confusion. It's fun hiding it from the others though, but the secret was soon to spill out.

"How long do you think it will be until the others find out?" I asked quietly when we laid down next to each other.

"Thursday. I'll bet you a date," he stated with the goofy grin of his I had fallen for in the first place.

"I say Wednesday. What if I lose?" I asked, being a bit excited about this cute bet.

"Breakfast in bed, and if we're both wrong, then nothing."

"Deal," I agreed as I offered my hand out for him to shake.

"Deal," he repeated as he shook my hand.

I don't want any of this to end; this relationship with Niall and the boys. It was all going so quickly. They'd be back in their studio soon and I'd be at college. What would happen then? I guess I've got to enjoy it while it lasts. Nothing is forever.

"OH MY GOD."

I slowly lifted my eyelids to see who had interrupted my sleep. I squinted as the sunlight blinded my eyes. I gradually opened my eyes and found Louis standing in front of me with scruffy hair and his jaw wide open. I looked around and everyone was slowly fluttering their eyes open and sitting up, laying them on Louis. Niall moved a little and I realised his arms were around my body. I was too tired to even move it off of me.

"NIALL AND MADDY. YOU GUYS ARE SOOOO CUTE."

Great.

Niall embarrassingly moved his arms off me while Harry looked over at us and gave us a cheeky smile half awake. I looked over to Alice who had the funniest facial expression. Her eyes were half open and her jaw dropped a little. She just stared at us as if we were a book and she was trying to read it from a hundred metres away. She then relaxed her facial expression back into a half asleep look.

"Knew it, it's no surprise," she said in a flat tone as she fell back onto her pillow.

"Well, I guess you're an open book now," Liam stated as he leaned against the crème coloured wall.

You think I'm an open book, but actually, there's a lot you don't know about me.

"Yeah," I lied.

"Alright guys. Let's go get ready. We'll leave these two alone..." Harry trailed off in a croaky voice as he stood up, almost falling over while he did. I lifted my eyebrows to him, but he just smiled back, showing his cute dimples. The others followed his instructions and began to stand up and walk out. Alice didn't get up. She already fell back asleep and Liam ended up carrying her into her room. The door was closed and we were left alone.

I guess I was relieved that they knew. It was hard to hide my feeling for Niall when we all spent five days together in a week, but now, there was nothing to hide. At least anything that involves them or they'd worry about.

"So, we both lose the bet," I stated.

"Yeah, but I'm still going to take you on a date. Our first date," he responded with a small smile.

I smiled at this. Being with Niall for a few hours was good enough, but being with him alone was better and something that I was looking forward to.

"Where are you going to take me?"

"It's going to be a surprise," he replied with a smile which I returned. He then wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in so I was on top of him. I laughed as he did this and then he rolled over so he was on top of me. "I'm so glad we don't have to hide this anymore," he said to me as he leaned dwown, pressing his lips against mine. My body tingled as he did this. We eventually pulled away as we need some air.

"Me too."

He smiled and then began leaning down. He pressed his lips on my collar bone and made his way up to my neck, sending tingles into my body with every kiss. He sent kisses around my neck and got to my soft spot under my jaw. As his lips were pressed down on my soft spot, I couldn't help but let out a little groan. He pulled away and chuckled at this. He sat up as I did too as well, leaning my back against the cool wall.

"You're beautiful, you know that?"

Beautiful. It's a big word, a word that definitely doesn't suit me. I never believed that you could define beauty, and I definitely was not the definition of beautiful. I had never really been called beautiful from anyone apart from my parents and my sister and I never believed them when they told me I was.

"No," I replied with a slight pout.

"Well, you are."

-

"So, how long has it been?" she asked as she sat down on the couch next to me, placing her glass of water on the glass coffee table.

"Six days," I counted with my fingers.

Six days. It felt longer than six days.

"Wow. So how'd it happen?"

"Alice..." I said in annoyed tone.

"What? I'm just asking."

"Alright, fine." I sat cross legged on the couch and turned to face her and she did the same. "Last Tuesday on the beach, he kissed me..."

She almost squealed at this but then she returned her facial expression back to normal.

"But you guys were ignoring each other when you came back?"

"You didn't let me finish."

"Oh okay. Go on."

"He kissed me, and then said that he didn't know why he did it. I was pissed at him because... because I liked him," I choked out.

"Knew it."

I gave her a tired look.

"Sorry. Go on," she responded apologetically.

"So that's why we were avoiding each other, and then on Thursday, he apologized and said he didn't mean what he said and we made up," I finished with a small smile.

"Awh. That's cute."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," I replied as I playfully rolled my eyes at her.
