Week four out of a possible eight weeks with the boys. Over halfway. I still remember the first night we met. It didn't feel that long ago to be honest. Next week is orientation day and my birthday on Monday. I want to know where Niall is taking me. I like surprises, but I just can't stand not knowing. I guess I don't like things to be a mystery.
"MADDYYYYY?" my sister yelled from downstairs.
"WHAT?" I yelled back.
"YOUR BOYFRIENDS HERE!"
I rolled my eyes at her response even though she couldn't see. It wasn't my boyfriend that was here, it was the others as well. It's still a bit surreal that I have a boyfriend. Especially when it's Niall Horan.
Her reply was followed by faint chuckles from the other boys.
"ONE SECOND!" I responded.
I quickly examined my appearance in the mirror, tweaked my hair a bit and went downstairs.
"Maddy!" Harry greeted me as soon as I got downstairs and he walked in. Harry was the only one here, along with my sister. The others were probably outside getting their bags and are going to pile in any second. He wrapped his arms around me and I did the same in return.
"Hey Harry," I greeted back.
"Hands off, Harold," that Irish accent I had missed warned as he walked in and dropped his bags at the door. A grin grew on my face as I heard his voice and I almost immediately let go of Harry, leaving him with a confused facial expression and pout. I flung my arms around him as he did the same in return. His hugs were always so comforting and I would never get used to them. It was such a small action that would just instantly make me melt and bubble with happiness.
"Hey," I greeted him as while we were still clung together.
"I missed you," he whispered. An even bigger grin was tugging at the corners of my lips when he said this.
After exchanging hey's and hugs, the boys followed their usual routine of going upstairs and setting up.
"One week til ya birthday," Alice sung as she walked into my room and sat on my bed.
"I know. I'll be nineteen. That's so old."
"It's not that old. But how cute is it that Niall's taking you out?"
A slight smile grew on my face at this. I didn't even bother to respond, I just rolled my eyes at her.
"It will happen to you too. You've just got to wait."
"I'm fifteen; sixteen this year. Not seven."
"I know. But like, a serious relationship."
I didn't even know what I said until the words left my mouth. A serious relationship? Me and Niall's relationship isn't exactly serious. I don't even know what it is.
"Serious?" she asked.
"Not serious, but, you know.."
Even I didn't know.
"No.. I don't.." she responded with confusion.
"Neither do I," I admitted.
"How long do you think you two will last?"
I turned around a bit and sat properly to talk to Alice. By the looks of it, it was going to be a long conversation.
"I don't know, hey? Soon, I'll be going to college and they'll be in their normal studio. It's hard to predict and it's only just started as well."
