"Number one already!" my dad cheered as he dashed downstairs with his shirt half done up. He clearly was way too happy to care about the fact the he looked like he just been beaten. But without the bruises and cuts and everything.

A bunch of voices yelled different replies while my jaw just dropped wide open. My baby sister's single is at number one and it only got released today. Out of all the jumbled voices, there was one clear voice.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?" she yelled with her mouth wide open with bits of bread crumbs on the corners of her lips as she held the half eaten piece of toast between her fingers.

"Knew it was going to be a hit!" my dad responded as he walked over to my sister who was now standing up in shock and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

"AHHHH, THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!" she yelled as she jumped up onto the couch while we all just laughed at her. It was good to see her so happy.

"Hurry up with your breakfast. We don't want to be late," my dad ordered as he buttoned up his shirt while walking back upstairs.

"Mark and some of the other guys will be there, so no funny business," my dad warned as he fiddled with the controls of the car, pressing random buttons and making different noises.

"What funny business?" Louis asked as if he had no clue what was my dad was saying.

"Stop touching it," Paul ordered as he lightly smacked my dads hand. He then pressed a button and changed it to BBC Radio 1.

"Like the time you put glue on Liam's chair. Good thing Liam's smart," my dad replied to Louis.

It was so weird listening to their conversation. My dad was treating them as if they were his sons and the boys treat him like a dad. It was like we were a whole big family and I liked it.

"Maddy, you should probably introduce yourself to Mark. He probably wants to meet you," my dad continued.

"Who's Mark?" I asked.

"Assistant manager," my sister replied.

"And he's your assistant manager too?

"Mhm," she hummed in response.

"Why would he want to meet me?"

"Because you and Niall are together. He's got to approve of you," my dad explained.

"Approve?" I repeated. This suddenly made me a little nervous. "Should've gone to college today."

"Not approve. He already has since your my daughter and your sister's Alice."

This made me relax a bit. What if he didn't approve of me? That'd be awkward.

"Don't worry, he just wants to meet you. That's all," Paul cleared up as he turned around the traffic light.

"Good."

"And there was no way you weren't coming today," my sister warned.

"It's a signing," I reminded her. "I'll just be sitting there with nothing to do."

"I think you'll be signing a few autographs today," Niall joined in.

"SHHHH," my sister hushed as she held her arms out for us to stop talking.

"... Twitter is blowing up, everyone is going ballistic. I heard it's already at number one on iTunes which is just insane," the radio announcer spoke. "And here it is now, a worldwide premiere. This is Alice's new single featuring One Direction, Right Now."
