I observed his happiness from afar. I was laying down on Niall's lap and I could tell something was up. He tapped away on his phone with a cheeky smile. He was glued to his phone the whole day and it was starting to annoy me.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked. Even though everyone was sitting in the lounge, it was clear that my question was aimed at him. Everyone stopped their conversations and turned their heads to face the curly-haired boy for an explanation. His happy expression immediately turned into a blank one.
"Nothing," he lied.
"Kay then."
Everyone continued with their conversations. Niall continued running his fingers through my hair. Our fingers were entwined together and he brought my hand up while I continued staring at Harry. Niall pressed his soft lips on my hand. I looked up to him and gave him a smile which he returned.
"Let's go upstairs," he suggested. I nodded and sat up from his lap. We both stood up, still hand in hand as we walked up the spiral staircase. I opened the door and sat on my bed. I watched him as he began looking through my desk and drawers.
"Hey, what do you think was up with Harry?" I asked.
"It's probably a girl. Just another fling," he explained with his back to me still in search for something. This got me thinking; are we going to be a fling? I don't want it to be a fling. There's just something about him that makes me not want him to be just an 'ex' in the future. It's crazy how happy he makes me, the butterflies he gives me and how with just one touch, he can make me melt instantly. I wonder if I have the same effect on him. Probably not.
"Oh."
"Let's get started," he suggested as he turned around with the white photo album and several metallic markers in his other hand. I smiled and nodded in response as he sat next to me.

"How is it Friday already?" my sister asked in confusion as she tied her hair in a messy bun.
"The days go way too fast. Soon, we'll be back in our studio," Louis joined in.
"I like it here. I don't want to leave," Zayn complained.
"It reminds me of home. Like, my home with my mum and stuff," Harry said.
"It's like a second home to us. It's been over a month," Liam joined in.
"The best month of my life," my sister stated. I agree with what she said. It had been an amazing month. Looking over everything that has happened in the passed month, I can say it has been crazy, but at the same time, amazing. Meeting five best friends, finding out your best friend is a psycho and having a boyfriend. A lot of mixed emotions. I still remember the red writing on my mirror. All the bad stuff that had happened didn't seem that bad anymore. Maybe because the effect faded away over time or maybe the good overpowered. Nonetheless, I couldn't have asked for a better month.
"I still remember the first night we met," I started as a small smile in embarrassment crept onto my face.
"That game of truth. Oh my god, that was the worst," Niall complained as he shook his head. We all laughed at this.
"Louis' black pancakes.." Harry reminded us. We all laughed as Louis kept a stern look on his face.
"I remember how you practically hated us at the start," Zayn recounted. The rest laughed while I sat in embarrassment.
"I didn't exactly hate you," I defended. "It was coz of the dinner thing."
"You so hated us," Liam argued.
"I wouldn't use the word hate.."
"Strongly disliked?" Niall suggested with a smile.
"I didn't exactly dislike you guys. I was just a bit annoyed I guess."
"Why'd you have to come back that night?" Harry asked.
"Coz this idiot," I said as I jerked a thumb in her direction, "forgot her keys."
"Hey, it's not like you didn't have a good time," she defended. I just rolled my eyes. "You should be thanking me. None of this would've happened if it wasn't for me."
"Dad actually set this up. But thank you," I replied with a small smile
"I always wanted to ask this but I always forgot," Louis started. We all moved our gaze to him as we waited for him to speak. "You know like two nights before you two got together?" This question was clearly aimed at me and Niall. We both nodded in response. "What happened? Coz we went home and then you guys come back and were ignoring each other."
I laughed a little as a flashback of that day ran through my head. I shook my head in embarrassment. I looked at Niall whose cheeks were slightly tinted pink. His shocking blue eyes locked with mine. He shook his head in disapproval of telling them, thankfully.
"It's none of your business, really."
"Like you actually had a headache that night," Zayn joked as he gave me a pointed look.
"I knew it!" my sister snapped. "I always do."
"Best friends don't keep secrets from each other," Louis stated, and the guilt hit me again. Everyone has secrets and sometimes it's better for other people not to find out. I want to tell them but I think that they'd probably hate me and it would just ruin our friendship. I tensed up a bit while Niall soothing rubbed his hand on my back. "Answer my question. I want to know."
I looked at Niall with an embarrassing smile which he returned.
"You're telling them, not me," he instructed. As much as I didn't want to be the one to explain it, it was just too hard to fight the Irish accent. I shot him a death stare as he leaned in to kiss my cheek, leaving a patch of warmth.
"Well, it started on the beach.." I started to explain. My explanation was a bit jumbled up so Niall ended up explaining parts of it to them which I was thankful for.
"I KNEW YOU LIKED HIM," my sister pointed out. "WHY AM I SO SMART? I KNOW EVERYTHING."
I just rolled my eyes at her.
"So, I apologized two days later and yeah. We were trying to keep it a secret but.." Niall finished as he folded his lips together.
"That went well," Liam pointed out sarcastically.
"We never did get to the bottom of the letter or the writing on the mirror," Harry concluded.
"I don't know about the letter, but I don't want to know who did the writing on my mirror," I replied with a small frown. "I'm not keen to find out who wants to murder me."
"No one wants to murder you," Niall stated.
"You never know.." I replied jokingly.

Niall's POV
Everyday was just getting harder and harder. Everyday I fall for her more and more. The last thing I wanted to happen was for her to find out. The guilt is eating me alive. It's not like I had a choice though. But if she found out, she would hate me. Who wouldn't? I just can't stand to think about losing her. I don't even know why she did it.
I slid out my phone and unlocked it. I scrolled through my contacts and found her name. I clicked on it and her number came up. I took in a deep breath as I pressed her number. I pressed my phone against my ear and listened to the rings.
One ring.
Two rings.
Three rings.
"What do you want?" her voice spoke rather harshly breaking the rings. I was not surprised by her attitude. I took in a quick sigh in annoyance.
"We need to talk."
