Chapter 59 - Plans

Remus arm was still wrapped around my shoulder, but he had loosened his hug, when Dumbledore had arrived. For a few moments we both just looked at the closed door and processed what had happened.

„Are you okay?" He asked me softly and placed his hand on my back. I nodded and gave him a weak smile, at least I had stopped crying by now. Remus handed me a chocolate bar out of his green and brown cardigan and I whispered a „thank you" and couldn't help but smile to myself.

„How come, that you always carry chocolate with you? You must have a huge stack somewhere..." I stated and chuckled about the thought.

He chuckled too before he answered, „well I don't offer chocolate to everyone...so I don't have that much."

„Not to everyone, huh? Does that make me special?" I asked jokingly with a smirk and placed my hands on his chest, getting closer.

„I offer Harry a lot of chocolate so..." he answered and I faked being offended by his answer.

„So i am not special?" I joked and pouted. He lifted my face up by placing his fingers under my chin and got closer.

„You know that you are" he almost whispered before our lips met and melted together. I placed my arms around his neck and pulled him a little closer as I stood on my tippy toes. The kiss started to get more passionate and Remus pulled away, to catch his breath.

„You know how much I would love to continue this, but I have training with Harry in half an hour. How about tonight?" He asked with a smirk and stroke a strand of hair behind my ear. At first I wanted to agree in excitement of course, but then remembered the party.

„The twins and Grace planned a party for tonight..." I told him and felt kind of bad for turning him down. „Sorry..."

„Don't be sorry, darling. Enjoy the party, I won't run away and we still can continue this another day" he told me and smiled.

„Hopefully tomorrow, I can't wait for you to rail me" the words left my mouth without me having any control over them. Remus looked a little shocked over my words, but chuckled. I mean what I had said wasn't wrong, but I didn't mean to say them like that...

„Sorry...the veritaserum..." I said a little embarrassed, but chuckled too.

I stayed with Remus and we talked a little longer. He told me how the training with Harry was going and told me that he started making progress, but sometimes he seemed bothered by something and couldn't focus. Remus asked me, if I could talk to Harry and find out what was bothering him, since I was a little closer to Harry. I was pretty sure, that it had something to do with Sirius Black and his parents, but I agreed with Remus and told him I would talk to Harry.

When it was time for Harry's training I left Remus classroom and gave him a quick kiss, before I left. Closing the door behind me, I almost ran into Harry, who just smiled at me knowingly. He wanted to comment something, but I stopped him.

„Don't! Don't say anything" I warned him and he just chuckled, before he entered Remus' classroom. I decided to get to the great hall to eat something, lunch should already be finished by now, but maybe there still was something to eat. When I arrived in the great hall most of the students had already left, but I sighted the twins and a worried looking Grace sitting at the Gryffindor table.

I walked towards them and Grace ran to me and hugged me.

„We were so worried, what happened? What did he ask you?" She shot me with questions and I whispered towards her, before we reached the twins.
