The days leading up to the winter ball went by pretty quick and the classes were as usual. I continued the training with Snape, but we didn't manage to succeed. According to him we were making steps into the right direction, but I didn't see what he was talking about...
George had finally asked Grace to be his date for the ball and Fred and i decided to go together. He said he wanted to make the Gryffindor girls jealous and i wasn't really interested in going to the ball with someone else than Remus, and since this wasn't an option and Fred was my closest friend so I decided to help him.

I found myself getting more and more excited for the ball, maybe Graces excitement was rubbing off on me. Since George had asked her she didn't stop talking about the ball and I thought it was really cute. The night of the winter ball would be another full moon and I was getting more and more worried about Remus. The wolfsbane wasn't ready yet and I got more anxious how I would give him the potion. Would he even be happy? I was scared that he didn't wanted my help or how he would react to me knowing his secret...

The winter ball was taking place on the last weekend before most of the students left for holidays and returned home over Christmas. Luna and I would spend the holidays in Hogwarts, while the twins and Grace visited their families.

The morning of the winter ball Grace woke me up. Her feelings were a mix of excitement and worries, i tried my best to calm her down, even though I would have preferred to get a little more sleep.

"Grace, you have planned this night for over a month now...everything will work out perfect." I mumbled in a sleepy voice. I was still laying in my bed while Grace was pacing around the room. "You have a beautiful dress and the date you wanted..." i continued, but nothing seemed to stop her worrying.

"How can you be so relaxed? This could be the most important night of my life..." she said and smiled to herself.

"Are you planning your Wedding already?" I joked and catched her off guard. Her reaction showed me that she really was planning her future with George. I giggled at her reaction.
"Grace don't worry...everything will work out" I assured her a last time. She tried her best to calm down and hide her excitement when we met up with the twins to get breakfast. George seemed to be worried to.

"He is nervous" I whispered towards Fred and motioned to his brother. He nodded.

"It took him ages until he was happy with his suit..." Fred explained. We continued watching Grace and George, they were so cute and nervous at the same time. Sometimes they glanced at one another and blushed when the other one noticed.

"They are so cute" I sighed and turned towards Fred. "I think he has a crush on her..." I whispered to him and he nodded without taking his eyes off of the two.

Grace and George didn't seem to be the only students that were nervous and excited about this night. Many other students were talking about their dates and the things they would wear. I talked with Fred about the girls he wanted to make jealous and we made plans that would get them to dance with him.

"I will try my best not to look too good, otherwise the girls won't dare to talk to you" I joked.

"I would really appreciate it...maybe wear a potato sack" he answered and I chuckled.

"No, no. My dress is too incredible not to wear it" I told him with a huge grin.

"Well the dress alone won't make the heads turn...the person that wears it makes the difference" he told me and jokingly winked at me.

"You are too cute, Fred" I said and wrapped my arm around his, while we were walking out of the great hall after breakfast. "Maybe I am going to keep you..." I joked and we started laughing.
