Chapter 48 | Tie

The lesson felt longer than it actually was and I couldn't really focus. Remus seemed to notice that I wasn't answering his questions like I usually would and my mind was at a completely different place...

"Miss Lovegood." I heard Remus voice throwing me out of my daydream. Shit, he had probably asked me something, but I hadn't paid attention to class. The confused and embarrassed look I was giving him made him repeat himself.

"I asked if you were able to tell us the classification the ministry of magic has ranked our current topic" he asked me and walked up to my table. With a short glance towards the board I got reminded of our topic and I opened my mouth to answer, but then stopped myself. When I thought it through...not answering his question and faking that I had no clue what was going on in class, probably got me more detention. I leaned myself back and crossed my arms over my chest and couldn't hide the small smirk on my lips.

"I'm afraid I can not, Sir" I answered in a sassy tone, which caused some of the other students to whisper and carefully watch the scene. I noticed that even the twins looked shocked, I was aware that this was very strange for me, because I usually was the teachers favorite and would never disrespect a teacher like that, well except Snape. Remus just raised his eyebrow and without taking his eyes off me he loudly dismissed the class. I stayed where I was without moving. Only when the twins tried to talk to me Remus immediately stopped them and motioned them to leave the class. I need to admit, that he really was intimidating and I probably would be scared if I wouldn't knew what was about to happen.

His eyes left me for a second to check if everyone had left the classroom. With a quick motion with his wand the curtain of the windows closed and the light in the classroom went on. I stayed in my chair, waiting for him to do something. The only thing between us was my table and for a few moments we just stayed like that. It was hard for me to read his expression and he was just staring at me.

Suddenly he quickly pushed the table to the side, it crushed into some other tables and I flinched. I hadn't expected that and this side of him was new to me. I felt myself getting uneasy, because this wasn't what I had expected, but at the same time i felt my middle heating up. I didn't know what was about to happen and what he was up to and not knowing seemed to turn me on even more.

Nothing was parting us anymore. He quickly closed the gap between us and was now towering over me, since I was still sitting in the chair. He slowly lowered his head to my level and whispered in my ear with a deep and rough voice.

"In this detention you will get punished for disrespecting me"

His words and his hot breath on my skin caused me to shiver. It took me a while to understand his words, but I noticed that he acknowledged my reaction. One part of me wanted to give in and stay silent, but the other part in me wanted to argue, since I just "disrespected" him to get this detention, this was unfair and I feared that he actually could be upset about it. This part on me won.

"But-" nearly as soon as I opened my mouth Remus placed his hand over my mouth and slowly turned his head so he was directly looking at me.

"Shh. I know what you want to say. You got yourself willingly into detention..." he stated still in a low voice. His hand left my mouth and his fingers stroke over my lips. This made me melt into his touch immediately. I wanted to kiss his hands, but he stopped me by grabbing me by the chin.

"And you shall receive...but only if you do what I say, understood?" Remus asked me and I nodded quickly. I would do everything for him to give me what I wanted...him.

"Good" he said in a rough voice while he leaned in to kiss me. The kiss started soft, but quickly turned more passionate and rough. Without thinking about it I raised my hands up to his face, but he grabbed me by my wrists and stopped kissing me. I looked at him slightly confused and wondered if had done something wrong.
