„When in doubt, I find retracing my steps to be a wise place to begin...Good luck!"

And with that the headmaster left.

„Please tell me you know what he means..." I said to Hermione in a pleading tone and walked up to her. She nodded and turned towards Ron. „Sorry Ron, but seeing as you can walk..." She said to him and took out a long golden necklace. I stepped closer to see what was supposed to help us. Hermione pulled me closer and laid the necklace around Harry and I, so the three of us were all wearing it. She took the pendant into her hand and began to turn the middle part of it. I lifted my head up, when she was done and watched everything around us going blurry and it seemed like everything rushed past us. Looking at the figures I was able to make out, I noticing that everything seemed to go backwards, I began to realize what this necklace was for...she had turned back the time. When the process was done Hermione took the necklace away again, but unlike me, Harry still seemed to be confused.

„What just happened? And where is Ron?" Harry asked and looked at the now empty bed of his friend, but Hermione ignored Harry's questions and walked towards the open doors, that lead out of the hospital wing.

„Seven thirty...where were we at seven thirty?" She asked and turned towards Harry. „I don't know...going to Hagrid's..." He answered, but still seemed like he didn't understand.

„Come..." Hermione said and I gave her a quick nod. She took Harry's hand and dragged him with her. She knew we didn't have much time and we needed to spend every minute wisely. Harry and I ran after Hermione and followed her out of the castle. And over the long bridge towards Hagrid's hut.

We all stopped in our tracks when we heard their voices, as we reached the end of the stoney pathway. We saw the trio confronting Draco and two of his fellow Slytherins, he seemed to provoke Hermione, who was already pretty angry at him. Hermione and I hid behind the wall and I pulled Harry towards us, when he just stood there and looked bluntly at their past versions. Hermione quickly explained him what she just did and what her plan was, even though she didn't completely seem to have a plan, but we all knew what was at stake here. Harry finally seemed to understand and when she turned to me to check, if I had understood as well, I nodded quickly and added an „I know."

The three of us looked around the wall again, right when Hermione punched Draco in the face. A part of me felt sorry for him, but I also knew that he probably deserved this... The Slytherins ran towards us to get away from the golden trio, so we quickly hid on the outside of the pathway. They ran past us, without noticing anything, so we waited for the golden trio to leave towards Hagrid, so we could follow them without being seen. „Let's go" Hermione said after a while and when we looked down the hill, we just saw them disappearing into Hagrid's hut at the end of said hill. We quickly made our way down and hid behind the pumpkins in Hagrid's garden. We never took our eyes off the hut to make sure they wouldn't see us. Hermione explained Harry the dangers of time traveling, but I wasn't really listening, since we had this in class one day and I watched the trio talking to Hagrid. When I turned to the others, I noticed Dumbledore approaching with the Minister and another man.

„Is that...the minister?" I whispered to them and they turned around in shock.

„That's what Professor Dumbledore was talking about!" Hermione realized and turned to Harry. „We can save more than one innocent life..."

„Buckbeak!" Harry spoke out his thoughts, when he realized what she was talking about. I just looked at them with confusion, so they nodded towards the overly large bird like creature that was laying between the pumpkins. „That thing? Why do we need to save it..."I wanted to ask but then I took a second look at the Minster and the man with a black hood...he was a headsman. „Oh." I added, when I realized what the situation was.
