Another few days past and I managed to get the valerian roots and the aconite, that were growing on the grounds of Hogwarts. My last class this day was History of Magic and Professor Binns told us to follow him and walked out the classroom.

"Seems like history won't be as boring as usual this time..." Fred whispered and George and I giggled at his joke. We followed the Professor and the other students through some corridors to the are of the castle that was barely ever used. He opened a large door and waited until we all had walked inside. Binns stood next to something that was leaning against the wall and was covered with a white sheet.

"You are standing in front the mirror of Erised. It shows the deepest desire of the person that looks in it..." Professor Binns explained and motioned towards the hidden object in front of the wall. He continued talking, but Fred and George walked up besides me.

"George. Do you think she would see the Professor in it?" Fred whispered to his brothers, loud enough to let me hear it.
"Of course brother" George answered and I rolled my eyes at them.

"I never should have told you..." I whispered back to them.

"We would have found out anyway"
"You can't hide your secrets from us"
"And you are pretty obvious..." they whispered into my ear.

"Am I?" I asked and turned around to them. They nodded with a serious expression. "Really?" They nodded again and I turned around to Professor Binns again. Shit, was all I could think. I really needed to work on hiding my feelings. Binns had finished explaining and some students were raising their hands. He chose one of them to speak.

"Can we take a look, Professor?" The student asked and Binns hesitated.

"Fine...Only the students that think they are stable enough-" he began but the whole class was already forming a line. Everyone wanted to see their deepest desire and Binns already regretted his decision, but took down the sheet and revealed the mirror.

"Remember this is not real and is not automatically going to happen..." Binns tried to warn while the students were stepping in front of the mirror. Everybody started talking and describing to their friends what they were seeing. After awhile the twins and I had walked up to the mirror. The twins stepped aside so I could finally take a look.

I looked into my eyes, they were glowing in a purple tone. On top of my head I saw a pair of black horns that were twisted at the ends. But the biggest difference were the large wings that were coming out of my back. The black fathers had a purple shimmer in the light. I was wearing a tight black sort of leather uniform, that seemed to be made for my Veela form. I couldn't take the eyes off of my wings, but I suddenly realized that someone was standing behind me. It was Remus.

I turned around out of reflex and stared into nothing. So I turned around towards the mirror again. He only was in the mirror. He smiled down at me and I just stared at his reflection in the mirror.

"What do you see, Maeve?" George asked and there me out of my thoughts. It took me awhile before I managed to take my eyes away from my reflection with wings and Remus. I grabbed Fred and George's arm and walked away from the mirror, dragging them with me, so no one could hear us.

"I see my Veela from and...and him" i slowly answered.

"Aww Maevy-Baby" Fred joked and I couldn't help but laugh at them mockingly swooning. After we had calmed down I tried my best to describe them what me Veela from looked like. They listened closely and seemed really excited.

The weekend came and this Saturday was a quidditch match. Gryffindor against Hufflepuff. It was more than stormy outside and many students were worried about their friends, but the match still took place. Gryffindor seemed to win this match and the rain didn't seem to stop. Everyone was wearing capes, but by now everyone was completely soaked to bone. But that didn't stop us from cheering and screaming. I was standing next to Grace, Hermione and Ron. I watched the twins flying through the rain.
