We arrived at the castle and before the ceremony started, we went to our common rooms to bring the luggage into our rooms. So I parted ways with the twins and i went off to the Ravenclaw rooms. I found Luna and asked her if everything was alright, because of the surprising visit of the dementors earlier. She nodded and i quickly explained her what I and George had found out.

I went up in my room and changed into my uniform, it fitted perfectly and I felt really good in it, for the first time honestly. I smiled at me when I looked in the mirror. Regardless of the uniform I still looked a little rebellious, because of my messy hair and its purple parts. I let a few of the top buttons of the white shirt open and wore the tie just loosely. I never wore my uniform correctly.

I went downstairs to the common room and found out that i wasn't too late, gladly. I quickly made my way to the great hall. In front of the huge open door were Fred and George already waiting for me, i smiled at them when they saw me.

"My lady" they both said and bowed down a little. I just laughed at them. And they held out their arms for me. I tuck my arms into theirs and we went into the great hall. My eyes wandered towards the Gryffindor table, i hated it that they we were not in the same house as me. We gladly had most lessons together, but we didn't had the same common rooms or could sit together in the hall. In my house i really just had Luna.

"Look who is staring" Fred said pointing towards the Slytherin table. Blaise and that Malfoy kid where looking over. They were in Harry's and Ron's year and gladly he never picked me out to be his victim. So I never really had something against him, but I didn't really like him, because he was mean to all of my friends. The twins just laughed at him and got closer to me.

"You need to be careful, Maeve" George said to me. "Yeah, because they look at her like they want to eat her" Fred added and started laughing. "Oh my good even Oliver Wood, look" he said again as his eyes went towards the Gryffindor table.

"Shit" i just said. All of this felt so different. It was weird to get their attention, especially from the, as you could say, popular students.

"Don't worry you belong to us." Fred said.
"We will protect you" George added.

"Yeah dream on, Fred" I scoffed with a smile. I was glad they said it, because I wasn't sure how to handle the attention I was receiving. More and more students came into the great hall and we decided to go to our tables as the ceremony was probably about to start soon.

After all of the first years were placed into their new houses, every of the house teachers stood up and said something to their students. Gryffindor went first, but I didn't really listened to McGonagalls words, because it was too funny to watch the twins mocking her. Gladly she didn't noticed them.

Slytherin was the second house and I just refused to listen what my potions teacher had to say. It was the same thing every year and they were always hoping that they would win the house cup, Gryffindor always won. Hufflepuff came third and when I glanced over, Cedric smiled at me. I couldn't stop myself from rolling my eyes. Why was everyone behaving to weird and was fixated on me? The twins must have noticed it because suddenly they started bursting out laughing and I just stared at the table. I tried to hide my smile because I had seen that Cedric was embarrassed. Him, the Cedric Diggory was embarrassed!

I was too busy trying not to laugh, that I didn't even noticed that Professor Flitwick was speaking to us now. Suddenly I heard him say my name, which threw me out of my thoughts.

"Where is she?" He asked and looked around. The students around me motioned me to stand up and I nervously did.

"Ahh. There she is. We are so glad to have you back at Hogwarts, Miss Lovegood" he continued after he saw me. I blushed and put my courage together and lifted my head to look at him with a smile. My eyes automatically wandered to the other teachers on their table at the top of the great hall.

I couldn't believe my eyes at who I saw sitting next to Snape and Hagrid. Remus fricking Lupin. I just stared at him, he looked back at me with a smirk on his face. He looked very pleased with himself and not surprised to see me. Suddenly I realized it, he had seen my uniform when I tripped over after we left the store, that's why he was sure, that we would meet again.

I let myself fall down on my seat after the realization. Shit, that means he is my teacher. I looked over to the Gryffindor table again, Fred and George were starring at me with a huge question mark planted on their faces. How was I going to tell them... that the same Remus lupin I had met and maybe had a little fallen for, was going to be one of our teachers.

"Maeve" I heard Luna whisper next to me. I hadn't even realized she had came over. "Is that him?" This girl really has some special abilities or is able to read minds, how did she know that?
I just nodded and she went back to her seat silently. She didn't know what to say either.

Third person point of view:

Maeve didn't really ate much after dinner was served. She wasn't hungry and her mind was still traveling around her new teacher. Dumbledore had even announced him before dinner, but she didn't dare to look at him.

He was looking at her, nearly the entire time and watched every of her moves. When Flitwick had welcomed her back she had just stared at him, she could have done anything, everybody was watching her. Most of them started talking and whispering as soon as she stood up and most of the boys couldn't take their eyes off of her. And she...she was just looking at him. She didn't even noticed the others reactions.

He just couldn't stop looking at her and even Snape noticed it during a conversation. When Snape was talking Lupins eyes just always flickered towards Maeve again.

"Is there something interesting to see, Remus?" Snape asked in his slow voice.

Remus looked back towards him and quickly answered. "No nothing" this caused Snape to look at him concerned, but continued talking. Remus tried his best not to look at her too often and one time their eyes met and this time she smiled at him, she didn't seem nervous anymore. In her eyes he found a familiar warmth and he smiled back at her. And he could swear that she winked at him, she flirted with her eyes, which caused him to blush. No one had ever gave him this kind of attention.
