* Issy's POV *

"What are you saying your not even gonna give them your word or your opinion on this?", I asked Professor Kiglin, earning a distressed look from him as he sat down at his desk, organizing papers.

" Issy I'm sorry, but if the board just doesn't think that they should continue with your scholarship anymore, then I have to respect their decision, I apologize", he said, watching as I ran my fingers through my hair.

" But why? Thats not a good enough explanation Professor. I'm keeping my grades up, you told me my performances in the past mock trials have been great, so why are they taking away my scholarship? You do realize that if they take this away I practically won't be able to pay for University any longer, therefore not even attend", I told him, shaking my head as he sighed.

" Issy it was not my decision I said I apologize I really do okay, but this shouldn't come as a surprise to you Ms. Laylitch, you knew you needed to implicate standards inside and outside of school in order to maintain your scholarship and you didn't unfortunately, so they feel it would more appropriate to provide tuition for somebody who's more available and capable for it ", he explained, causing me to roll my eyes.

" The board thinks that I was careless and that I just got knocked up and now feels like I don't deserve my scholarship anymore which is totally wrong, I'm perfectly capable", I said completely annoyed.

" Ms. Laylitch , I'm sorry, like I said it's out of my hands", he said once again, myself now watching as he packed up everything in his briefcase, now walking away, before turning
back to me.

" If it makes you feel any better, you really are an outstanding student, I'm sorry the board isn't as understanding as they should be, have a nice day Ms Laylitch", he said to me, before walking out, now leaving me dumbfounded as he didn't shoot me one last glance, before leaving the classroom.

***********

" Issy!", Owen yelled from behind me, causing me to roll my eyes as I walked over to the bench that was near the parking lot.

" Leave me alone", I said without even turning my head back, trying to calm down since I know I was already boiling anger inside of me and I couldn't let Owen make it worse than it already was.

" Issy wait what happened why were you called down?", he asked me, now sitting down beside me, trying to study my face as I turned my head away from him, my eyes on the bridge of tears, to which I wouldn't let him have the advantage of seeing.

" I lost my scholarship and I don't wanna talk about it so could you please just leave?", I said, wiping away a tear that was slowly falling down my cheek, now looking down at my finger nails.

" I'm so sorry, do you need a ride home?", he questioned, sighing slightly as I shook my head. " Harry's coming to pick me up don't worry about me just go please", I said, now watching as he nodded, before getting up, now making his way back into the building.

I then grabbed my phone, before wiping the few tears that fell down my cheeks away, now calling Harry, being thankful that he picked up on the third ring.

" Hey babe", he said, his voice making me immediately smile as I heard it on the other line, he could always do that no matter what type of mood I was in.

" Hey, can you pick me up now?", I asked him, waving to one of my classmates that was currently getting into their car.

" Yeh I'm like five minutes away, but Emily hurt her arm while she was outside on her bike literally when I was just leaving, so I think we should stop by the hospital before we go back to my house", he told me, my eyes widening a bit at the news he informed me with.
