Chapter 91 - Cookies and Confessions

* Issy's POV *

" Would you like to buy some Girl Scout cookies?", Emily asked Dave, making me smile as she looked up at him, taking a bite out of her cupcake she was currently eating.

" Sure, what do you have left?", he asked her, myself helping her search through the boxes in her bag.

" Samoas, thin mints, do-si-dos, and savannah smiles", she told him.

" Aw you ran out tag a longs?", he said, peeking through the bag of cookies after she said the variety of choices.

" Yeh, I'm sorry Dave, Harry bought the last box", she said, making him softly chuckle.

" Don't worry about it sweetie, I'll take two boxes of Samoas please", he told her, myself soon earning a thank you from Emily as I helped her get the boxes and gave them to Dave, as well as collecting the money.

" How's your arm babe?", I asked her, laughing as Dave shoved one of the cookies into my mouth.

" Better thanks, how are you?", she asked me, placing her small hand against my stomach.

" I'm good thank you", I said, lifting her onto the table, now wiping her mouth clean from the chocolate cupcake she just finished eating, causing her to giggle.

" Issy can we call Harry, I wanna tell him how Brian signed my cast", she told me, making me smile gently at her question.

" Sure, I'm not sure if he'll pick up though, but you can try babe", I told her, going through my contacts, before clicking on his name, now handing it to her, before looking over at Dave.

" Iss do you have the fault in our stars, the notebook, or titanic on dvd, I think I'll curl up into bed and watch that while stuffing my face with these cookies", he said, making me laugh.

" No you won't, she just needs time to comprehend that her best friend likes her while she is infatuated with her new boyfriend, no need to wallow just yet", I told him, watching as he took a sip of his soda, before shaking his head.

" Just yet? How encouraging Issy", he said, rolling his eyes.

" Dave cmon just give her some time you didn't exactly put her in an easy situation", I reminded him, earning a wide eyed and jaw dropping expression from him.

" He didn't pick up, so I left him a voicemail", Emily told me, causing me to laugh lightly.

" Alright that's fine I'll let you know when he answers", I told her, now watching Dave as he whispered something to her before placing both of his hands over her small ears.

" What the fuck is wrong with you!? Your the one who kept fucking pushing me to tell her, and now that I finally did, your gonna come say that shit!", he whisper shouted, Emily giggling as he kept his hands over her ears.

" Yes because you just bluntly told her out of no where, you could of at least gotten alone with her to discuss it but since you decided to sprung it out just like that, don't you think she's gonna have a harder time letting it sink in? Liking her is easy for you, but not for her considering your her best friend, and she's possibly falling in love with her boyfriend", I told him, only for him to sigh.
" I'm sorry but think about it, what about if you had a girlfriend you really liked but then Em out of no where said that she likes you, what would be your reaction?", I asked him.

" Id say lets fuck right now and be together!", he exclaimed, making me laugh, putting him in her shoes clearly not helping.

" Alright whatever, I tried to help don't get mad at me because you didn't take my advice, I'm gonna go talk to her", I told him, laughing as I heard him ask Emily for another box of cookies.
