Chapter 34 - Im In This With You

* Harry's POV*

" Em you can have some if you want, you've been eyeballing it this whole time", Issy said to Em, talking about the Hershey chocolate drops that were in a basket from Grace.

" Ugh thank you I'm starving", she said, making Iss and Dave laugh.

" Who wants to cut this cake and sing to the birthday girl?", I asked them, setting the cake on the table.

" We do!", Emily yelled, giggling as Iss tickled her.

" Happpyy Birthdaaaayy to youuu", I started to sing, hearing the others beginning to join in.

" Happpyy Birthdaaaayy to youuu, Happpy Birthdaaayyy dear Issssyyyy, Happy Birthdaaayyyy too youuu", we all sang, clapping and cheering at the end.

" Are you two are you four are you six", I said, laughing .

" Harry don't even try I'm twenty ", she said, blowing out the candles. We all cheered again for her as she blew out the fire from the candles, myself helping her take them out of the cake.

" What flavor?", she asked me, pushing back some of her loose brown strands behind her ear.

"Guess", I said, making everyone laugh as I took some of the whipped cream frosting and smudged it all over her nose. She then took some of the frosting off from her nose, tasting it.

" Hmmm, vanilla?", she asked me. I shook my head.

" Close, it has strawberries in the middle", I said, giving her an obvious hint.

" Oh, strawberry shortcake!", she exclaimed, laughing with me as I nodded, cutting her a slice.

* Issys POV *

" Hi honey", the nurse said, walking into the room.

" Hi", I responded, giving her my attention as she sat on the chair.

" Alright so your doing pretty well, and you can leave tomorrow morning, but I just wanted to go over some things with you", she said. I nodded, waiting for her to proceed.

" Usually when a woman has a miscarriage, the pregnancy tissue sometimes still gets left behind. It's supposed to pass on its own, but just incase it doesn't, we prescribe the patients medication to help with that. Now luckily for your case, since you were only about five and a half weeks along, the pregnancy tissue shouldn't have any problem passing without medication. But in order for it to pass, you will be bleeding for about two weeks", she explained.

" So it's gonna be like an extended period almost?", I asked.

" Yes exactly that's how it's going to feel like. So it's important that you just get plenty of rest, and if you feel any discomfort, treat it right away", she said, I then nodded, waiting for her to continue.

" Okay, then after two weeks, you'll come back here for an ultrasound, just to make sure that the pregnancy tissue has moved out or to see if we need to give you medication, and that's pretty much it", she explained, standing back up. ". Any questions sweetheart?", she added.

" Umm, no I think you covered it all", I told her, sending her a smile, to which she returned.

" Okay great, if you want to see anymore visitors we can send them in before you go to sleep?", she suggested.

" Oh yea, can you bring them in please?", I asked her. She nodded, before slowly closing the door.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes, thinking I saw a familiar boy with blonde hair walking into the room.
