Chapter 75 - The Dinner

* Issy's POV *

" Mom", I said, wrapping my arms tightly around her, smiling against her shoulder as she hugged me, pulling away to look at my face.

" Look at you sweetheart my goodness your glowing! And your showing, your bump!", she exclaimed, making me laugh as she touched my stomach, her eyes beginning to turn glossy.

" You look so beautiful I can't believe my baby is pregnant", she gushed, bringing me into her arms once more, before pulling away so I could greet my dad.

" Hi dad", I said, smiling as he looked me up and down, putting his hand over his mouth.

" You look stunning sweetheart", he said, embracing me tightly.

" Thank you, you both look great too", I told them, watching as they smiled.

" Oh Harry darling thank you so much for bringing her, we appreciate it dearly ", she told him, making me laugh softly as she squeezed him a little too tightly, making my dad chuckle before greeting him as well, patting him on the back.

" Your brother was so excited when he heard you were coming", my mom said, myself thanking Harry as he helped me sit down on a chair, before smiling up at my mom as she said those words.

" He woke up earlier before he left for work just so he could tidy up your room a bit", she added, making me laugh lightheartedly.

" That was sweet of him, I'll have to remember to thank him for that when he comes home, what time does he get off from work?", I asked.

" He gets off at 6 sweetie", my dad said, watching as I nodded.

" Great, well we will be right back, mind if we settle in quickly?", I asked them.

" Oh of course not honey, you must be so tired go rest up as much as you need to", my mom told me, kissing the top of my head.

Harry then smiled at my parents before helping me back up, carrying our luggage behind him as we made our way upstairs.

I was behind Harry as he opened the door to my room, watching as he closed it behind him, setting our baggage beside the bed.

I was about to take a seat on it when Em and Dave jumped up from the other side of it, yelling surprise, scaring the hell out of me as I jumped, holding my hand to my chest.

" Oh my god you guys scared the shit out of me", I told them, smiling as both of them embraced me, handing me a wrapped box.

" This is a gift from Em and I, it's not much, just something to say congratulations", Dave told me, smiling as I thanked him.

" Was this the surprise? Having my friends scare me shitless?",I asked Harry still trying to catch my breath, making Em laugh as she sat down next to me.

" Nope I'm just as surprised as you are, so that was a bonus", he told me, myself getting a bit disappointed, knowing I really had to wait a whole week. A whole week in suspense, oh man.

" Issy!!!!", Matt yelled, making me laugh as he threw his keys on the counter before embracing me, wrapping his arms tightly around me.

" I missed you so much", he told me as he pulled away from our hug, making me smile as he touched my baby bump.

" I can't believe I'm gonna be an uncle, I'm going to spoil your daughter to death, just a fair warning okay?", he said to me, causing me to laugh a bit.

" I think everybody will be. But speaking of spoiling, I hear your spoiling that new girlfriend of yours? When can we meet her?", I asked him, smiling as he started to blush, now looking down at the ground.
