Chapter 76 - Giving a second chance

* Matt's POV*

I watched as Issy threw her table napkin on her plate, before sliding out in front of Harry so she could get out of the booth, now walking out of the room. I closed my eyes and shook my head, looking at the faces of my disappointed parents, and feeling terrible as Harry looked down, turning his head as Issy walked away.

" I'm sorry excuse me", he said, sliding out of the booth now, and to what I assumed, going after her.

" How could you do that? If you wanna whisper could you whisper any louder? She obviously heard you Leah", I told her, referring to the questions she kept asking me in my ear.

" I didn't know I was whispering so loud, I just wanted to know, I guess curiosity got the best of me", she said, brushing some of her hair behind her ear.

" You were whispering a bit too loud, because I heard you too honey", my mom told her, making me put my two hands over my face. Great. My mother just heard my girlfriend asking inappropriate questions about my sister.

" Why did you have to know so bad? If she wanted to tell you she would but she just met you. You hurt her and now she probably doesn't want to eat with us anymore because of what you said. Do you know how uncomfortable she must've felt hearing a stranger ask those things? My sisters pregnant Leah she's not supposed be getting upset it's bad for the baby", I told her, now becoming really irritable.

" Well I'm sorry that I didn't want to make this night all about us. I wanted to know about Harry and your sister's relationship that's all", she said, as if it was no big deal.

" Yea, well you didn't have to know so much in detail. I can't believe you brought that up tonight. They were looking forward to meeting you and hearing about our relationship, not answering your questions about theirs. They don't want things to be all about them", I told her.

" Well I'm sorry I was interested in a star couple", she said, crossing her arms, causing me to roll me eyes.

" You know, ever since I've met you and you found out who my sister was, and who her boyfriend is, that's all you've asked me and talked about. I should of known that you would be more interested in their relationship than ours. They are two regular people. And if you were such a big fan, you would of noticed that Harry doesn't like when people see him as just some famous person", I said.

" Matt it isn't like that I like you a lot", she said, putting her hand over mine.

" If you guys want to talk your father and I could leave Matt", my mom suggested, setting her purse down after I shook my head.

" No, no thats not necessary, because I'm taking her home", I told them, now standing up.

" We haven't even ate, it wasn't that serious Matt", she said to me.

" You hurting my sister is serious to me", I told her, watching as she looked down, before looking to the both of my parents.

" I apologize for the inconvenience Mr. and Mrs. Laylitch", she told them, earning nods from them.

" Let's go", I told her, both of us now leaving the restaurant.

* Harry's POV *

I walked around the restaurant looking for Issy, scanning the whole place before spotting her, watching as she sat, watching the innocent lobsters swim in their tank.

" Sweetheart", I said, smiling at some people who did a double take as they saw me, waving, before taking a seat next to her.

" Are you okay? I'm so sorry about that", I told her, making me smile as she rested her head on my shoulder.
