Chapter 1 - Moving Day

*Isabel's POV*

"Issy'!!!!!!!!' My mom called out from the top of her lungs, acting as if I was about to go deaf or something.

"Yes mom!?", I replied back, with the same volume as her, you know I had to.

"Your friends are here!!!", she said, simply with the same loudness. I wanted to save my voice and just said a regular 'okay'. But that was a mistake .

"DIDN'T U FUCKING HERE ME YOUNG LADY'!?", she yelled, making me jump. I laughed, even though I was so startled.

" I said okay before!", I screamed.

"Oh, alright honey", she replied with an, almost nonchalant voice.

I just smiled, shaking my head as I carefully packed my last stack of clothes into my suitcase, still smirking from her sudden change of calmness.

I was gonna miss this. All of it. The constant shout sessions between me and my mom. My beautiful 1D poster plasted room. But I was just gonna redecorate it with the same ones in London so I was good. I was gonna miss my brother, and our heated fights and arguments even though we are so close, but most of all, my friends. They are the ones who kept me grounded for so long. Everything that I have been through they were always right by my side. And I knew that no matter how far I moved away, it wouldn't change a thing. They are so supportive and I don't know what I would do without them. Maybe that's because I knew I could never go, 'without them'. Literally.

"Seriously it's okay you guys don't have to come with me, I'll manage to settle in on my own," I said , although I was kind of trying to prove to myself that I could.

"No no no", Emily, my best friend said. "We are coming with you for a week whether you like it or not".

"Yea plus who said we were coming for you? I like my British women as well Iss." I laughed as my other bestie, Dave said.

"Well your only gonna be there for a week so don't go starring in any porn and that other pervy shit you do okay?" He laughed at my remark.

" No promises.", he said.

"Guys I have to say goodbye to my mom, so sit and relax in the car cause this could take hours", I told them.

" Alright Issy take your time," Emily responded.

I walked into the kitchen, with my suitcases in each hand, preparing to set them down to hug my mom. But surprisingly she did not look like she was getting ready to hug me.

"Okay mommy, I have my arms out, lets do this"

" Issy I can't say goodbye to you", my mom said, and with that said I put my arms down.

"What do you mean you can't say goodbye to me?" She looked at me with tears welling up in her eyes.

"How does a mother say goodbye to a daughter Iss?" I looked at her with a sad smile on my face, taking in what she said.

"Then don't say goodbye." I hugged her. "To be honest mom I wasn't gonna say goodbye to you either. I was gonna say see you later." She then looked up at me, starting to cry, and I took her in my arms.

"Mom you have raised me to be a strong independent woman. And today I get to represent that independency by moving to a different country and starting a new life on my own. I couldn't have done this without you. And I can't thank you enough for giving me this opportunity. I love you so much, and I promise I will try to visit you as much and frequently as I can", I told her as she sniffled on my shoulder, hugging me tighter.

"I'm so lucky to have a daughter like you. London better watch out because you are going to smash it. I know you are capable of this move, that's one of the reasons why I was okay with you doing it. And I know I made the right decision", she said, kissing the top of my head, and loosened her arms around me so she could see my face.
" Promise me something honey?'', she asked.

"Anything mom."

" Promise me you won't change, and promise me that you will never stop being you." I smiled at her loving words as they came out of her mouth.

"I Promise mom", I said, watching as she nodded.

" I'll see you later Issy, okay sweetheart?" I nodded as I wiped the tear sliding down my cheek.

"Okay, I'll see you later", I blew a kiss to her, and she caught it.

" I love you Iss", she said.

"I love u too mom." And with that , I picked up my suitcases, slowly closed the door, and locked it for the very last time.

" This is not the airport Dave", I said to him.

"No I know, did you really think we were gonna be selfish and not let anyone else spend time with you on your last day in America?", he asked me, making me slightly confused.

" What are you,-

"WE'LL MISS YOU ISSY!!!!" , I was then interrupted by a whole bunch of my friends standing outside, waving goodbye.

I couldn't believe it all of my friends were outside the car screaming those four words. I got out of the car and hugged all of them. Then my friend Kourtney began to speak.

"We know you can't stay Iss but we just wanted to let you know that we'll never forget you and we'll always be right by your side. We know you'll kill it in the U.K."

" Awww guyssss! I don't know what to say", I told them.

"You can't leave without a speech!", my friend Ricky yelled.

"Yeah!' SPEECH", SPEECH, SPEECH, S -

"Okay!", I said interrupting them.

" Alright ummm, where do I start? I just wanna thank each and every one of you guys for sticking by me, I'm gonna miss you all so much, you don't even understand. I just want to let you guys know that I will never forget you no matter how far I go. You guys made me who I am and I cannot thank you Enough for that. I love you guys", I said.

"WE LOVE YOU TOO", they l yelled

I laughed still mesmerized by the big crowd in front of me, waiting for whatever I'm gonna say or do.

"Wait", I heard somebody from the crowd say. I then looked all around to find the person, only then did I freeze in my tracks. A familiar boy with spiked up brown hair and a short sleeve t shirt came up to me and gave me flowers.

"What are you doing here", I said to him. He looked into my eyes and put pressure on the flowers so they would be against my chest.

"Did you really think I would let you leave without saying goodbye?" I closed my eyes, shaking my head.

"Jordan what are you-

"I'm here to say goodbye to my beautiful girl", he told me. I looked away, feeling the pain already building inside my body from his words.

"Bye Jordan", I said as I walked away from him and then waved goodbye to all of my friends who came to see me. As we got back into the car and strapped our seatbelts, Emily turned to face me.

"Hey you okay Iss? I'm so sorry we didn't know he would come he wasn't invited", she told me.

"No it's alright that was an amazing thing to do and I won't forget it." She smiled at me as Dave continued to drive us to the airport, the place that would help me depart from my past and present and help me enter my future .

okay! So here it is chapter 1! I apologize if it was too short or too long but I'm learning as I go along. I know the story is a bit boring right now but I promise as it progresses it will get better. So please please bare with me. I also want to thank everyone who is reading I appreciative it so so much!
