Chapter 44 - Underneath the Hidden

* Issy's POV *

I felt like my heart was beating faster and faster out of anticipation the faster we ran into the facility, watching as many nurses were coming in and out of Jordan's room, making me do a double take when one of the nurses was running down the hall, talking about sedatives. Knowing that something had happened with Jordan literally made me feel like I could faint any minute, the color rushing out of my face the closer we got to his door.

" Issy calm down okay you need to sit down", Harry said to me while we passed the commons area, making me take a seat.

" Why are you making me sit down now there's something wrong with him we have to get in there", I said back to him, standing back up, but then sitting back down, seeing he was serious.

" Listen to me I understand that but you need to stay calm okay I know your scared for him but you need to remember your still recovering", he said to me, rubbing his thumbs against my cheeks.

" But Harry I'm worried about him please don't make me sit here I need to know he's okay", I replied back, calming down as I stared directly into his large green ones.

" I know you are babe but I'm worried more about you, take it easy you need to calm down he's fine Matt said everything is alright now on our way here remember?", he questioned.

" I know but he didn't tell me what happened"-

" Because he knows it's not good to stress you out right now", he said, interrupting me. " You just lost a baby Iss you need to rest relax sweetheart", he said, placing a soft, delicate kiss to my lips, before giving me a small smile.

" Your right. I'm sorry I don't mean to scare you like that, I'm just".......

" Being paranoid", he said, studying my face, making me laugh slightly.

" Yea paranoid. You know me so well", I told him, making him chuckle. He then stood up, taking my hand in his as we continued to walk to the room.

As soon as we reached the door, we saw Matt standing in front of it, looking down at his phone before looking up, meeting our gazes with a sullen look on his face, making me even more anxious as we saw the door closed.

" What happened is he alright?", I asked quickly, desperately wanting an answer, hoping that the bad thoughts that came into my head would be proven false.

" He's okay now they are just finishing up some tests they ran", he said.

" Matt", I said, giving him a stern look as he smiled, giving Harry a fist pump to the hand.

" Issy", he imitated in my voice, making me annoyed.

" What happened you said he wasn't feeling well. I want the truth", I told him, watching as his smile faded away slightly at my words.

" The truth is he is okay now there's nothing to worry about-

" Matt! What happened?", I pushed, becoming impatient, the not knowing driving me over the edge.

" He had a seizure", he said quietly, making everything in me sink, Harry looking at him, then me with the same shocked expression taking over his face.

" What? Oh my gosh is he awake now? Seriously you weren't gonna tell me that!", I yelled at him, sticking my tongue out at him as he told me to shush.

" This is why I wasn't gonna tell you. You need to calm down they said he's alright now Iss. You need to relax. I know stress isn't good for you right now that's why I didn't say anything on the phone. I didn't wanna worry you. He wanted you guys here and you can see him any minute now he's awake", he said, making me sigh in relief.
