You wanted to wake up, oh how you wanted to wake up in your bed and see that this was all a nightmare cooked up sadisticly by your brain.

Not a word, or even a sound could come out of your mouth. The only thing that showed you weren't a statue or under a spell was that your body was shaking with pain from the wounds on your hands and right side, and the tears that were still running down your cheeks.

No matter how much your brain told you it was inevitable, it still hurt. Far too much. Deep down you didn't want to believe it, it was far too painful.

BF/N didn't bother to hide an unhealthy satisfaction as his piercing eyes analysed you. There was no doubt that he was enjoying your slow agony. He had changed... You had changed him.

"Why BF/N?! " Nikolai shouted, shaking with anger. If Moxxie hadn't held him back he would certainly have lunged at him to attack.

The angel looked at him somewhat surprised at his bravery, then shrugged with an amused expression.

"I doubt a child could understand my reasons. But perhaps... 'your mother' will be more pedagogical than I am" He said in an almost jovial voice. However, as soon as the word "mother" came out of his mouth his voice changed. It was harder, colder, more ... venomous.

Your boyfriend straightened his posture and gave you a stern look that immediately made you look down in shame.

"Don't you want to explain to him my love? "

Those sweet words were riddled with irony. You felt only his hatred for you, nothing else, no comforting warmth. Only his boiling rage. For a moment you forgot your wounds and tried to stand up to him.

It was a mistake.

A painful cry escaped your throat and you were forced to stay down, shaking with pain. The captain rolled his eyes as if it were absurd and played with his spear as if it would force him to not attack you now.

"Very well, since you seem to have lost your tongue, I'll do it," He said contemptuously as his eyes began to glow with a dangerous and savage gleam. "There are many reasons, but the first one is that you disgust me" BF/N growled as he pointed at you.

You could not find the strength to respond, his words alone were sharper and more painful than the agony gnawing at your hands. You could feel your breathing getting harder and harder, as if you were being dragged under water, the weight of your regrets had intensified to the point where you felt as if you were being stabbed in the back by multiple spears.

BF/N used his spear to push you hard to the ground, ignoring the wounds in your hands. He did not listen to your complaints and continued in a cold tone.

"I gave you so many things and you destroyed everything. " BF/N declared as he shook with anger and took a few random steps into the circle of fire that imprisoned you. "In the beginning I gave you my trust and love and what did you give me in return? Lies. "

Nikolai's eyebrows furrowed angrily.

"THIS IS NOT TRUE! Y/N A-"

Before he could continue, the captain threw a fireball at the child, fortunately Moxxie was able to save him in time by dragging him back. You tried to stand up, whispering the child's name, but your legs and arms could not respond at all.

"Silence. You should know that an angel always tells the truth Nikolai." Your boyfriend ordered icily. "Unlike sinners.» He sighed and resumed. "Y/N you'll agree that our relationship first started with lies, right?"
