Your heart pounded hard against your chest, you could feel every pulse in your ears.

When you went outside it was unusually cold. Like a winter evening. You carefully looked around to see if you had been followed, then, you went deeper into the hotel garden, and as you did so you could hear the sound of the party diminishing, and very quickly the sound of the wind drowned out the sounds coming from the hotel.

It was strange, despite the presence of this draught, you felt oppressed as you tried to walk on the grass in spite of your shoes. Breathing was almost an ordeal. In fact, this wind was not helping you at all, it was hitting your skin which was left out in the open as if to force you to deviate from your trajectory, and refused to give you an ounce of comfort, especially when its whistling sadly pierced your eardrums.

Another noise caught your attention. A rumble. You looked up for a moment and noticed that the weather was beginning to cover up. Apparently it was going to rain soon.

However, you tried to continue on your way to the rosebushes where Alastor had given you an appointment. No matter how dark this garden was, no matter how strong the wind, no matter how cold the night was, no matter how much anxiety was weighing on your movements. You knew why the deer had asked to speak to you, and you knew why you had agreed to join it.

You wanted to settle this matter between you once and for all.

You were tired of it, tired of playing his games, tired of torturing your mind, tired of all the conflicting feelings it had in your head every time the radio demon was in the same room with you or when you smelled its scent.

Yes, you were tired of it.

Suddenly your legs froze in place from the moment you saw the deer leaning quietly against his microphone while contemplating a rose bush filled with red roses.

You wet your lips with some apprehension, it was the first time you had seen him so serious and... silent.

You couldn't hear his usual static when he wasn't speaking, he really didn't make any sound, only in rare moments. And those rare little noises were really aggressive, as if he was thinking about something that was making him mad. You took a moment to prepare yourself mentally and you bravely went towards him.

"You wanted to see me? "You asked, forcing yourself to keep your tone calm and perfectly neutral. But very quickly your anxiety only increased when you noticed that the grass around the deer had completely dried up, as if it had been emptied of all life.

"Indeed, Darling" replied the deer slowly turning its head towards you, cracking its bones in the process.

The deer straightened his posture and silently observed you for a moment before turning his attention back to the roses.

"I have to say that the result of our performance was much better than I imagined. Oh it's been a long time since I've seen such a fiery audience."

You pushed a small, rather unsatisfied grunt and then said in a cold tone.

"True, but I doubt you brought me here just to tell me about that feat."

The deer's smile diminished a little before taking on a darker, more condescending appearance.

"You have a point, my dear," Alastor replied as his red eyes glowed in a dangerous light.

"So tell me exactly what you want to talk about." You ordered in the same cold and neutral tone despite your concerns about the intentions of the Radio demon.
