Cousins

Part 4

Practice was over for War. He saw Yin earlier sit down on the bleachers. He was wearing his soccer uniform. He probably finished early. He got out of the pool to grab his towel when he got startled by someone standing behind him.

"Hi" -North said.

"Hi" -War turned around to look at him and then back to grabbing his stuff. North had his soccer uniform too. He looked nice.

"I am North" -North said but he had already introduced himself earlier.

"I know. We met earlier" -War said non-interested. He was tired and wanted to go home.

"Yeah. Sorry." -North said with a smile. War saw that he kept standing there so he turned around to look at him. North was smiling which War thought it was funny.

"Did you need something?" -War said with a soft smile. He noticed North smile became wider.

"Actually I wanted to know if you were hungry? Maybe we can go somewhere to eat" -North said. War was confused.

"He can't. He has plans already" -Yin was heard. They both turned around to look at him, he was walking over standing close to War.

Yin was waiting for War to finish practicing. He was on his phone and didn't notice when War got out of the pool. He took a quick glance away from his phone and saw North standing behind War. He became angry and stood up to go their direction quickly.

"Thiwat, I asked him" -North said to Yin. North would always call Yin by his last name. War made a face, it became awkward. They were looking at each other like they hated each other.

"Sorry North. I do have plans but maybe some other time" -War said to North with a smile. Yin turned around to look at him angrily. "I'm gonna go change now" -War said to Yin. He quickly walked to the locker room.

"You better stay away from him" -Yin said.

"You won't tell me what to do Thiwat. I like him" -North said and Yin pushed him. Bar had seen North approach War and then saw Yin but he was busy with some things. He ran to them when he saw Yin push him.

"What are you two doing? Stop! Now!" -Bar said getting in the middle of the two.

"North, go home. Yin, wait for War over there" -Bar said pointing to the chairs next to the lockers.

"I am warning you. Stay away from him" -Yin said and North smiled making Yin even more mad. North walked away. Yin went inside the locker room.

"You can't go eat with him" -Yin said to War. Luckily he had finished changing. War sighed.

"I won't" -War said. He noticed that Yin didn't like him and although he is mad, he won't do something Yin feels uncomfortable with.

Yin took a deep breath of relief.

"Lets go" -Yin said grabbing War's backbag.

"Pa sent the driver. I thought we wouldn't finish at the same time" -War said.

"We can wait for each other if one of us finishes first" -Yin said.

"We will be tired" -War said taking his backbag from Yin's hand. "Go home. Text me when you are there" -War said walking out of the locker room. Yin knew something was going on with War.

Yin and War texted each other when they got home. War would always text Yin a lot but lately he hasn't.

"how was school?" -Earth said when they got home. War was in the living room on the floor doing some homework.

"It was fine. I have Wind for all my classes" -War said.

"That's great" -Earth said hugging him.

"Who is Wind?" -Kao said.
