Cousins

Part 27

"We knew it could go this bad. Don't worry. I am still here with you" -Yin said. War called him in the morninh after refusing to answer last night.

"Yin. Even our dads couldn't help us. What are we doing to do? He even made me stay home today. I can't go to school" -War scared. When he was getting ready for school, Kao came in and told him he would stay home. He was still really angry.

"It's fine. I will fix this. Don't be sad, War. Just stay home and rest. I love you" -Yin said worried that War might give in Kao's wishes. War smiled knowing that Yin wasn't backing down.

"I love you too" -War said making Yin happy.

"Apa. What am I gonna do?" -Yin said feeling sad. He was watching Fluke make breakfast. Ohm was already gone for work.

"You dad will talk to Kao. I'm sure he is just being overprotective and worrying about War's feelings getting hurt again" -Fluke said to Yin.

"I didn't mean to hurt him. I swear" -Yin said and Fluke nodded.

"By the way, what did you steal from your Uncle Kao? He said last night that you stole somthing from his room." -Fluke said. Yin's eyes widened. He smiled awkwardly but was silent.

"I-I. Promise you won't get mad." -Yin said and Fluke put the knife down.

"I swear I took care of him" -Yin said but Fluke was still confused.

"We had --- we had sex and we needed some-" -Yin said and Fluke was stunned.

"You what?" -Fluke asked. He glared at Yin who was getting a little scared.

"We wanted to. I asked him for consent and he said yes" -Yin said honestly.

"What is the matter with you? He is 14!" -Fluke said realizing why Kao was so mad.

"So? He can make his own decisions. It isn't a bad thing. We wanted to be with each other" -Yin said annoyed. It was their decision no one else. Why is it such a big deal?

"Yin. You are older. I don't want anyone to think you are taking advantage or--" -Fluke said but Yin got angry.

"I am not taking advantage of him. He knows how he feels about me for a long time" -Yin said and walked out the house to get to school.

Fluke took a deep breath. Yin didn't even eat breakfast.

Yin decided to go to his dad's company after school. He didn't have practice because his coach had a meeting.

"Hi. Is my Uncle Kao in?" -Yin asked Yiwha.

"Yes. But he is waiting for a phone call. You should sit down and wait" -Yiwha said but Yin needed to talk to him so he went in the office.

"Don't you know how to knock?" -Kao said to Yin. He was sitting down working on some documents.

"I want to talk" -Yin told him. Yiwha went in the office.

"I'm sorry. He just went in" -Yiwha said annoying Kao.

"It's fine. Close the door" -Kao said. Yiwha left and closed the door for them.

"I'm sorry" -Yin quickly said.

"Why?" -Kao asked putting his pen down.

"Because we hid it from you. We were scared of how you would react. I swear I have been taking care of him" -Yin said looking at the ground. He wanted to explain to him.

"He is 14 and you are having--" -Kao cleared his throat. "You are having sex. That is not taking care of him" -Kao said fiercely. He had to breath hard to be able to say it. He hated the idea of his son being intimate.

"Uncle Kao. I really won't hurt him" -Yin said with a sad tone.

"You were suppose to be his best friend, not his boyfriend. You were suppose to take care of my boy if someone hurt him. You were suppose to be the one there for my boy if he needed anything. If my boy needed to cry, he should be running to you. But now he will run from you because you will be the one hurting him and making him cry. You two will fight and he will have no one to be his best friend" -Kao finally said it, the real reason why he didn't wnat them to be together. He had been making Yin like him because he wanted his son to be taken care of. Yin was stronger than War. The closeness that they had was suppose to be friendship like him and Ohm, like Earth and Fluke.

"I am still his best friend, Uncle Kao. I won't hurt him or make him cry. I will be by his side" -Yin said. He was surprised to hear that from his Uncle Kao. It made him sad to thinking that War wouldn't have anyone else but him.

"I really want to believe that but I saw War cry and be sad. You know how painful that was? He wouldn't talk to us and the person who was suppose to be always there with him wasn't because it was that person who made him that way" -Kao said looking at Yin. He wasn't talking rudely. He was calm but fierce. Yin knew he was that person Kao was talking about. They had fights that made them both sad.

"Uncle Kao. Please. That won't happen again. I am still that person for him" -Yin said pleading. He would beg because he couldn't let War go.

Kao didn't answer. He was playing with his pen. He was thinking on what to do. If he makes them break, War would hate him.

"Listen, I don't agree with what is happening. This is wh--" -Kao was going to say something else but the door was opened. Ohm was notified that his son was in the company.

"Why didn't you come to me first?" -Ohm asked Yin.

"I wanted to talk to Uncle Kao" -Yin said.

"Lets go home" -Ohm said grabbing Yin by his shoulder. He looked into Yin's eyes and could see the sadness. He glared at Kao and left.

"I don't want you two to fight dad. I'm sorry" -Yin said to Ohm when they were walking to his office to get his things to go home.

"Don't think about that. We will be fine" -Ohm said. He grabbed his things from the office and took Yin home.
