Part 35

"When are you leaving to New York?" -Earth asked Fluke while they were having dinner to celebrate War.

"Next friday"-Fluke said smiling. He missed his mom.

"That's good. We are all flying to Singapore on Saturday" -Earth said. War and North had to be at the camp by next Sunday. Yin rolled his eyes. He hated that they were going.

Yin would look at War during dinner but him and North were talking. James noticed Yin's eyes of anger towards North and tried distracting him.

"Since when do you go to that camp?" -Fluke asked curiously to North.

"I honestly don't remember" -North said smiling. "I've been going for a long time. I really like it. I'm sure War will like it too" -North said. War smiled and looked at his food. He didn't want to look at Yin.

"Yin maybe you can go next year" -Fluke said.

They were all finished with their food. James and Wind had to go because their parents were already there. Earth and Fluke kept talking about their trips. They were excited for a vacation.

"What do you do at the camp? Is there more that War will like other than swimming?" -Kao asked North making everyone surprised.

"Yeah. I was telling him the other day that there is an archaeology class. There are many activities" -North said. Kao smiled. It was weird seeing him smile.

"I like archaeology" -Kao said. North knew that. War had told him a little bit about Kao so they could get along.

"We should go" -Ohm said standing up. He was tired of seeing Yin left out by Kao. All night he kept his attention to North and War and it was annoying. Kao saw that Ohm was upset.

"Yeah" -Yin said. He stood up as well.

"Oh ok. I will talk to you later." -Fluke said. Earth nodded. Ohm didn't even say goodbye and just walked out.

"Bye" -Yin said to War and his Uncle Earth.

Ohm was silent the way home. He couldn't believe that Kao was making his son less.

"Don't be mad" -Yin told Ohm when they were home but Ohm ignored it and went to his room. He was really upset the treatment his son got from his supposedly best friend.

"I don't want them to fight because of me again" -Yin said to Fluke.

"It isn't right what your Uncle Kao is doing. No one wants their child treated like that. They fight because of how they act not because of you. Go shower." -Fluke said giving Yin a warm hug.

Earth, War and Kao got home after leaving North at his house. Earth and War were upset.

"Why did you treat him like that?" -Earth asked Kao when they were alone in their bedroom.

"Who?" -Kao asked pretending not to know.

"What is the matter with you? You act like you have never done anything wrong." -Earth said angrily.

"I thought about it more and I don't think they should date. He isn't even talking care of him properly. They are still kids." -Kao said.

"You can't be serious!" -Earth screamed. Kao was saying nonsense.

"Earth" -Kao called him softly.

"We talked about it already. You said they could date. Why are you acting like this? Do you want our son to hate us? How could you treat Yin like that infront of our friends, our family!" -Earth was really angry. Kao walked near him.

"Listen he is only 14. They can wait a little longer. We can talk to both of them and make it clear--" -Kao was saying but Earth interrupted him.

"No! I will not make our son sad! I don't want to see him all depressed like before. How can you be so selfish?" -Earth said. He was annoyed and angry at Kao's attitude.
