Part 19 🔞

War wakes up the day of the competition mentally prepared to win. He goes downstairs after getting ready for school. He sees his parents kissing in the living room and goes directly to the kitchen instead where Milli is making breakfast.

"Good morning" -Milli says putting a plate on the table so he has breakfast.

"Good morning, thank you" -War says.

"Hey sweetie, are you ready for today?" -Earth asks War as he walks in the kitchen for some coffee. Kao had to go early to the office because his company will have a meeting with the employees about some transfers.

"Yes. Are you picking up grandpa?" -War asked Earth who just silently nodded.

"If I win can we go on a trip?" -War asked Earth. He knew which parent to ask.

"Sure" -Earth said excited. He sat down next to War.

"Where would you like to go?" -Earth asked.

"I want to go to that small village in the mountains" -War said. Earth loved it up there. Kao bought him a house over there, the village was so fresh and warm at the same time.

"Yes. We can go" -Earth said happy that his son liked it up there too.

"Can we take grandpa?" -War asked erasing Earth's smile. War noticed it. He knew Earth didn't have a good relationship with Pat but War loved his family.

"Please" -War asked.

"I'll think about it. I'll see you later" -Earth said giving him his lunch so he could go to school already.

War went to school, he was getting his things to get out of the car when Yin opened the door for him.

"Good Morning" -Yin said with a big smile. War smiled back.

"Thank you" -War told the driver and got out of the car.

"Are you going to my competition?" -War asked Yin. He nodded. He wouldn't miss it.

"So, this weekend I will go to the beach with the guys. Do you want to come?" -Yin asked him. He had been cancelling so much that it was finally time for him to take his friends to the beach house.

War was silent for a moment.

"I asked my dad if we could go to the mountains. But have fun with your friends." -War said. Yin wanted War to go with him and War was going to tell his uncle Fluke to go with them. The whole family would be complete but Yin has other plans.

"Oh. Ok." -Yin said. They were silent during the rest of the walk to War's classroom. He went in the classroom and sat down. War wanted to ask if Ploy and the other girls would go to the beach house but didn't want to seem jealous and annoying. Ploy is still his friend.

It was already time for the competition. War had to concentrate and warm up for the race. He was nervous. The whole team sat down in the chairs next to the pool. War saw his dads, his grandpa, his uncles, his friends but didn't see Yin.

His race would be the last one so Yin still had time to appear. Time passed by and he finally saw Yin sit down next to his Uncle Ohm.

War won the race. They were all proud and Bar was so excited they would finally be able to get new equipment.

The team got a nice talk from the coach and Bar. They showered and changed and went with their family members.

"My boy you did great" -Pat said to War. They hugged each other for a while.

"Good job sunshine" -Fluke said hugging War. Ohm pat his head.

"Thank you Uncle Fluke" -War said.
