Cousins

Part 20

War woke up to an empty bed. Yin had left very early. He had a good night and wasn't hurting as much as his first time.

"Good morning sweetie" -Earth opened the door to his room. "Get ready. We have to go pick up your grandpa!" -Earth yelled as he was going downstairs.

War stood up and got ready. He grabbed his bag and went downstairs.

"You guys ready?" -Kao asked. They both nodded.

They drove to Pat's house. War got out of the car to get him. He helped him with his bag and both got in the car.

It took 4 hours to get to the village. 10 minutes before arriving, War rolled down the window and told his grandpa to smell it. It did smell very good.

They got settled in the cabin/house and went out to the village to eat something.

Yin was already at the beach with his friends. Everyone was happy and decided to have fun. Yin missed War like crazy but he knew he should have fun with his friends.

At night, they would have drinks and music at the backyard where the beach could touch their feet. The door bell was rang which was weird because the boys were complete, Yin went to open it and it was Ploy and her friends. Yin looked surprised. This could cause trouble.

"Hey! You guys came! Get in!" -Kla yelled. They were invited by them. Ploy kissed his cheek and walked in.

"Shit" -Yin whispered to himself. He had to tell War but didn't want him to get mad.

Everyone was drinking and dancing. Ploy kept getting near Yin but he would find a way to keep his distance. He felt trapped everytime she would be next to him. He couldn't be mean to her but the only person on his mind was War.

War was playing a board game with Earth. Teh family was outside the house enjoying the fresh air and the night view of the ountains. Pat and Kao were making some food on the grill. Pat would move Kao everytime telling him that he wasn't doing it right. War and Earth would just laugh at them.

Fluke cooked for Ohm. They were having a good night drinking some wine and just spending time with each other.

The next morning, War woke up to that smell again. He had left the window open so the fresh air could go in. He shared the bedroom with his grandpa. There were two beds in the room and he wanted to be near his grandpa.
He woke up alone tho. He went downstairs and saw his dad with his grandpa making some breakfast. Kao was outside cleaning up the grill they used yesterday. It felt nice.

He sat on the couch and started using his phone going through his social media when he saw something so unpleasant. It was a video. Kla uploaded a story of all the boys asleep after their drunken night yesterday. He saw all the boys in different bedrooms, some of them with girls he knew from school but the last one was shirtless Yin in a bed next to Ploy. He lied! He said only the boys would go and now he probably slept with Ploy. His mood changed completely, he was mad and could feel his stomach become upset. He wanted to vomit. He was going to go back to the room and hide and probably cry under the blanket but he saw his parents and his grandpa, he made them come to this trip and everyone looks like they are having a good time, he decided to forget about lying Yin for now even if it was difficult. He wouldn't ruin the trip.

Yin woke up with a massive headache. He quickly stood up when he saw Ploy next to him. He checked and he was wearing his shorts and underwear, he was just misisng his shirt but it was so hot all day yesterday so it was fine. He didn't mess up. He left Ploy in the bedroom and went to check on everyone. Most of them were asleep. Bar and Pond were making breakfast. He looked for his phone.

"Here" -Bar gave it to him. He had put it to charge last night but forgot about it. He saw some texts from War.

"Hope you are having fun. I am. My grandpa and my dad are getting along" -one text read.

"I bought something for us from a little store" -another text said and there was a picture of some necklaces.

"Good night. Text me when you read them" -the last one said.

"Fuck" -Yin said louder than he expected.

"What is it?" -Bar asked him.

"Nothing" -Yin said but then he saw Kla's story and yelled louder.

"Fuck!" -Yin said and went to wake up Kla. Bar and Pond followed him.

"Kla! Wake the fuck up!" -He said taking away the blanket from him.

"What?" -Kla was startled.

"Delete the video! Now!" -Yin said and threw him the phone.

"What video?" -Kla asked. He was the last one to fall asleep and was so drunk when he recorded.

"Fucking delete it!" -Yin said.

"Yin. Calm down. He will delete it, right?" -Bar said trying to be the peacemaker as always.

"Yes" -Kla said scared. Yin looked so angry. He delete it the video but it was too late. When he texted and called War, there was no reply.

The boys were still confused by Yin's attitute.

"Are you okay?" -James asked.

"Yes" -Yin said but went outside to the beach to call War again.

"He is probably busy. Chill" -Yin said to himself having a little hope that War didn't see the video.

All the friends went to walk around the town. Yin made sure Ploy was with her friends and not near him. James was the one to notice it. And sticked like gum to Yin. Yin saw a seahorse toy like the one War gave him when they were kids and still had it on his nightstand. It was his favorite toy and actually only toy when he was a kid. He always preferred books but that toy was so special for him. If War saw the video, would he believe his explanation or did Yin just ruin everything?
