Part 55

–A few months ago—

Some time had passed since the last time Yin saw War. The last time he saw him was when War came back from Japan for vacation to see his family for a few days. The 6 of them were having dinner talking about Yin's business trip with Title when a conversation about War studying in the U.S. arise.

"You aren't going" -Kao said. It was one thing that he let him go to Japan but the US? That was too far and unnecessary. He couldn't let his son go that far just to get away.

"Can we talk about this at home?" -Earth said while he pressed on Kao's leg. War hadn't even brought up the conversation. It was Ohm who was talking about Grandma May and how she received news that War had applied to an art school there.

"He isn't going though" -Yin burst out. He couldn't hold it in any longer. War is willing to go that far to get away from him?

"Yin, they'll talk about it themselves" -Fluke said nervously.

"This isn't your business, Stay out of it!" -War yelled. He smacked his spoon hard against the table.

"Let's calm down" -Earth said looking at everyone slowly. He widened his eyes to Kao but Kao continued eating. Earth had told him to talk about it at home so why would he interfere?

"It is. Who do you think pays for all your stupid whims? The company that I will run pays for all that." -Yin said making War even angrier. Fluke and Earth were trying to calm them down but Ohm and Kao were not helpful at all.

"It is my Pa's company!" -War yelled. "But it'll be mine soon! You are just doing it because you can't handle your feelings. You are being weak!" -Yin yelled back. He was tired of War being a spoiled brat and bursting out in anger all the time. He understood how he felt but it felt like War thought he was the only one with the right to feel anger. The position that Yin was put in all those years ago was filled with pressure but he had to be strong for both of them.

War stood up so harshly that even the chair fell. Yin stood up to chase after him. Fluke and Earth wanted to go behind them but Kao didn't let them.

"They can yell at each other." -Ohm said. It was about time they talked. It had been so long since they heard the boys talk or at least yell at each other.

"You are being selfish" -Yin said, grabbing War's hand to turn him around when they were outside. Fluke's restaurant was already empty anyway.

"I am not letting you go all the way to the US." -Yin said, trying to calm down but those eyes that were staring at him with all this hatred.

"Since when do I need your permission?" -War said angrily, pulling his hand from Yin's grip. He couldn't believe the audacity of Yin after he broke his heart. He even had a girlfriend and he is doing this?

"You aren't going, period." -Yin said, sighing and walking back inside to his parents. He grabbed his phone and wallet from the table without saying a word and left the restaurant. The heat of anger was consuming him but he couldn't let his family see him like that more. War was taken home by the driver without waiting for his parents. He was angry and upset and tired of being back home and he couldn't believe Yin yelled at him.

Yin went to the company the next day for some documents he had forgotten for his business trip to Taiwan. He couldn't stop thinking about War. Fluke had texted Yin that War had left back to Japan that morning.

On his way to Taiwan, Yin convinced Title to let him go to Japan once they were done with the business trip. Title agreed to cover for him and tell Ohm and Kao they would stay in Taiwan because they might have another opportunity of business other than the one they were actually going to.
