Chapter 24: Revenge& Crashes

Rydel POV

I burst into the house and I run upstairs and check my drawer to get my scrapbook. It's not there! I run back downstairs and into the which causing me to gag by the smoke. I heard the upstairs explode into the flames. I crawl on my knees and look in the cabinet. There was the scrapbook.

I grab it and I stand back up and run to the door when someone pulls me back and I fall onto the floor. I look around and my eyes start to get blurry and harder to breathe. "I'm back bitch." I hear someone say. I lean up and cling the scrapbook to my chest and get back up.

Suddenly, Kelly appears in front of me. This can't be real. I'm hallucinating. She pushes me against the wall and grabs my throat making it harder to breathe. "K-K-Kelly, please please let go of me!" I plead. Suddenly, the door is kicked down and Kelly throws me against the cabinet.

I feel the dizziness rush into my head. I try to move but I collapse to the ground hyperventilating. My eyesight goes blurry and I close my eyes. Suddenly, someone picks me up along with the scrapbook in my lap.

I feel the fresh air hit me like bam. I open my eyes to see a breathing mask over my mouth and Ellington was watching me. He runs over and I take my mask off my mouth and his lips clasp against mine. I could tell I was going to need that breathing mask again but I just didn't care at the moment. His hands cup my cheeks and as he pulls away he lays his head against mine.

"Rydel.... If I can't be with you.. I wouldn't know what to do." He says looking at me. I put my breathing mask back over my mouth so I could breathe. "I love you so much-"

Suddenly, the house explodes causing debris to fly everywhere. I could feel the glass glide by my skin within seconds. I look over to see the a ambulance was loading Alexa and Rosie into the truck. I look at Ellington who was staring at me.

"Go... With... Rosie. I'll be fine." I say taking my breathing mask. He shakes his head. "Please! She needs one of us. Go." He looks at me with a thoughtful look then nods and runs over and gets in the truck along with Rocky.

I think about what just happened. Kelly? I thought she and I were on fine terms. Wait, her and Ellington were. Kelly still hates me. I still hate Kelly.

My thoughts were interrupted by Riker who was talking and I didn't even know he was talking to me. "Come on." He takes my hand and I slowly stand up feeling my legs again and we both get in his car.

The whole drive there was calm. Riker was listening to the radio while I rested my eyes. "OH-" Riker yells before everything want crazy. Again.

Another car flies by and hits Riker's side of the car and I cover my head screaming at the top of my lungs. The windshields shatters causing glass to go everywhere and the car rolls about three times and I'm still screaming.

Riker grabs my hand as we both flung sideways into our side windows. I hit my head against the window hard making it shatter. I could feel blood running down my neck slowly. I look over to see Riker had blood on his shirt. I slowly reach my hand over and felt his neck for a pulse. Luckily, there was one.

I unbuckle slowly with the car upside down and I fall onto the roof of the car. Then, the car gets hit again making me cry out in pain as my hand gets cut by glass. As everything went quiet, I could hear myself breathing. My hand stings as I try to get my phone.

"Ry-rydelly... Are you okay?" Riker's voice softly says. I look over and put my hand on his cheek and nod. His eyes slowly shut back.

I scream really loud. "HELP HELP!" Even though nobody would hear cause I'm in the car. My phone starts ringing and I use my other hand and grab it and answer.

"Rydel Rosie is going to surgery in a little bit. Where are you?" Ellington's voice sounds into my ear.

"Ell.... Help me." Was all I could get out before everything went black.
