Rydel POV
Everywhere..... Is reflections of my life. Riker tying my shoes. Ross pushing me down a snow hill. Rocky kissing my knee when I fell. Ryland reading me a book about a princess when he barely knew what the words were. Times.
I open my eyes to see everybody looking at me. I lean up and Ratliff grabs me and hugs me tightly. I cry hard.
The doctor injects a shot in my arm making my arm sting.
-5 hours later-
I wait in a wheelchair for everybody. My body is numb from my legs down so right now I can't walk.
Riker lifts me up into the jeep and I buckle and snuggle up to Ratliff. I fall asleep.
When I go to bed later I feel something.... A kick. I grab my stomach and smile. The miracle feeling. That feeling of knowing you are carrying a little person inside of you. Breathing. Eating. Pooping where ever babies poop and pee.
I lay down and dream of the future. Me taking my daughter or son to school. Having dinner. Playing toys and singing lullabies.
Ratliff kisses me and cuddles me tightly. I felt his breath on my ear. I wrap my fingers around his.
"Sleep tight. I'll never let you go." He says before dozing off to slumberland. I smile and slowly go to sleep.
